  • Patent number: 11201822
Abstract: A switch has a determining section and a memory managing section. The determining section determines whether or not the node is in a non-ordinary state in which received packets cannot be successfully processed, on a basis of a determination whether or not congestion notification packets received from a node have been continuously received during at least a given period and a determination whether or not a quantity of memory used in a buffer memory which accumulates received packets is at least a given value. The memory managing section deletes, in a case where the node is determined to be in the non-ordinary state, data addressed to the node in the non-ordinary state among data accumulated in the buffer memory.

  • Patent number: 6555713
Abstract: The decomposition of di-t-butyl dicarbonate which is a thermally unstable compound is inhibited. To achieve the object, a hydrocarbon compound such as hexane, cyclohexane, 1-hexene or toluene and/or a chain ether compound such as diisopropyl ether or t-butyl methyl ether are/is used as a decomposition inhibitor for di-t-butyl dicarbonate.

  • Patent number: 6458948
Abstract: A method of preparing carboxylic acid derivatives comprising mixing a quaternary ammonium salt having a particular triazine ring in the molecules thereof, a carboxylic acid compound and a compound having a nucleophilic functional group, to condense the carboxylic acid with the compound having the nucleophilic functional group. The invention further provides a condensing agent comprising the quaternary ammonium salt. The condensation is conducted under mild conditions to form carboxylic acid derivatives and, particularly, amide compounds or ester compounds maintaining high yields.

  • Patent number: 6020514
Abstract: A process for producing di-tert-butyl dicarbonate by continuously carrying out the following steps of reacting tert-butyl alcohol with sodium to form sodium tert-butoxide, reacting the sodium tert-butoxide with carbon dioxide to form mono-tert-butyl sodium carbonate, and reacting the mono-tert-butyl sodium carbonate with an aromatic sulfonyl halide such as p-toluenesulfonyl chloride in the presence of a tertiary amine such as N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine, without isolating an intermediate in the middle of each reaction stage. This process is an industrially advantageous process for producing di-tert-butyl dicarbonate from tert-butyl alcohol and an alkali metal.
