  • Publication number: 20060233540
Abstract: An optical finder having a variable field of view that changes in synchronization with zooming of an imaging lens includes a tubular finder housing having opening portions on an objective side thereof and an opening portion on an eyepiece side thereof and a field of view limiting member for limiting an aperture corresponding to the field of view from the opening portion on the eyepiece side by protruding from an inner face of the finder housing. The field of view corresponding to the aperture is increased or decreased in synchronization with zooming of the imaging lens. The field of view limiting member includes four aperture limiting members that are pressed inward from upper, lower, left, and right inner faces of the finder housing and aperture adjusting members having oblique side portions that are sandwiched between a pair of the upper and the lower aperture limiting members and between a pair of the left and the right aperture limiting members respectively.

  • Patent number: 5517294
Abstract: An image-forming machine comprising a rotary drum and a cleaning means which removes the toner remaining on the peripheral surface of the rotary drum. The cleaning means includes a support member that extends in the direction of center axis of the rotary drum, a blade-holding member that is mounted on the upper surface of the support member and extends in the direction of center axis of the rotary drum, and a cleaning blade that is held by the blade-holding means and extends in the direction of center axis of the rotary drum. The blade-holding member is allowed to swing on the swing axis that extends in a plane which is substantially perpendicular to the center axis of the rotary drum. An acute angle .alpha. is defined between the cleaning blade and a tangential line of the drum at a portion where the front end of the cleaning blade that is pushed comes into contact with the peripheral surface of the rotary drum, on the downstream side as viewed in a direction in which the rotary drum rotates.

  • Patent number: 5040024
Abstract: An electrophotographic copying machine developer vessel includes a vessel proper having a closed top, a barrel and a tapered inclined portion continuous to the barrel. The developer vessel also includes a receiving plate removably attachable to the vessel proper, the receiving plate having a substantially flat supporting surface, substantially straight two side edges for attachment to the developing device and an opening communicating with the vessel proper. An opening tab composed of a film which covers the opening of the receiving plate is peelably bonded to the flat supporting surface thereof. A shutter is provided which includes a plate having, on both the sides thereof, engagement portions to be engaged with both the side edges of the receiving plate. The shutter may engage the receiving plate of the developer vessel such that when the developer vessel is removed from a copying machine, the presence of the shutter thereunder prevents scattering of developer in the environment.
