  • Patent number: 9191590
Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is provided a signal processing device that processes a signal output from an imaging sensor. The device includes a lead integration unit, a main integration unit, and a correction unit. The lead integration unit integrates and averages, in a first integration region, signals of a plurality of first light-shielded pixels in a light-shielded area. The main integration unit integrates and averages, in a second integration region that is determined based on a result integrated and averaged by the lead integration unit, signals of a plurality of second light-shielded pixels in the light-shielded area. The correction unit determines a reference black level based on a result integrated and averaged by the main integration unit and corrects a black level of a signal of a light receiving pixel using the determined reference black level.

  • Publication number: 20070014220
Abstract: An optical disc device has a header field detector configured to detect a header field of an optical disc, a header address information detector which detects a plurality of address information recorded to the header field, a range setting unit configured to set a range predicted that the plurality of address information is present within the header field, a position determination unit configured to determine whether the plurality of address information detected by the header address information detector is present within the range set by the range setting unit, and a starting position prediction unit configured to predict a starting position to be assessed in a recording field arranged subsequent to the header field in the optical disc and a sector address corresponding to the header field based on a determination result of the position determination unit.

  • Patent number: 5881046
Abstract: A recording medium having a SYNC (synchronous code) for synchronizing with data and a DCC (DC cancel code) for suppressing a DC component of a wave form of a signal recorded on the recording medium, the SYNC and the CDD being adjacently recorded on the recording medium. Both the SYNC and DCC are patterns that are not present in a data portion.
