  • Patent number: 9493628
Abstract: The present invention relates to a rubber material containing an EPDM rubber composition containing an EPDM rubber, a carbon black, a softening agent, a vulcanizing agent and a sulfur compound, in which a blending amount of whole components from which the vulcanizing agent and the sulfur compound are excluded is from 300 to 400 parts by weight, and a total sulfur blending amount is from 1.0 to 2.8 parts by weight, in which a blending ratio of carbon black/softening agent is from 1.8 to 2.5, and in which the EPDM rubber composition has a Mooney viscosity of from 70 to 100 at 100° C., and a vulcanized composition thereof has a rate of rigidity change satisfying the following equation (1): {(30% Modulus at 100° C./30% modulus at 23° C.)?1}×100%??10%??(1).

  • Publication number: 20060066100
Abstract: A hose and connector of the present invention includes a connector base inserted in an end of a hose. A seal portion is formed at the inside of the connector base. The seal is formed by an elastic material for sealing with a pipe. An outer member is formed at the periphery of the end of the hose, and the outer member encloses the end of the hose and the connector base. A splice combines the seal portion and the outer member, and extends through the hose and the connector base.

  • Patent number: 6991270
Abstract: A hose coupling assembly wherein a hose 20 having a corrugated portion 22 is coupled to a fitting block 24 by a socket 50. The fitting block 24 has a block engagement catch 25c projecting from the outside rim of the block body 25. The socket 50 comprises a socket body 51 elastically expandable and contractible by being divided by a slit 51a, and a socket engagement catch 51b engages the block engagement catch 25c. To detach the socket 50 from the fitting block 24, force is applied in a rotation direction to a push operation portion 51c to cause the socket body 51 to undergo diametrical expansion, releasing the socket engagement catch 51b from the block engagement catch 25c.

  • Patent number: 6308992
Abstract: A hose connecting assembly of the present invention ensures a tight seal even when a hose 30 is bent and laid out in a narrow space and repeatedly is subject to vibrations under a low-temperature condition. The hose connecting assembly includes a connection tube 10, which is pressed into the hose 30. The hose 30 is designed to have an inner diameter change rate Dc of no greater than 23% under application of an inner pressure of about 0.49 MPa. Ring-shaped projections 21, 22, and 23 are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the connection tube 10. The ring-shaped projections 21, 22, and 23 are designed to make a diameter expansion rate T, which is defined by an inner diameter d1 of the hose 30 and an outer diameter D2 of the ring-shaped projections 21, 22, and 23, at least 25%. A hollow cylindrical end 18 is further formed on an end portion of the connection tube 10. It is preferable that the hollow cylindrical end 18 has a length of at least about 3 mm.
