Patent number: 9285004Abstract: A silencer for a leaf spring assembly. The silencer is disposed between end portions of leaf springs. The silencer has a two-layer structure which has a fixing layer and a sliding layer which are integrally formed. The fixing layer has a projection portion, and the projection portion has an engagement portion at a leading end portion thereof. The fixing layer, which is fixed at the fixing side leaf spring, has a tensile strength higher than the sliding layer. The sliding layer, which abuts the sliding side leaf spring, has a hardness lower than the fixing layer. The projection portion of the fixing layer can have sufficient strength to resist the shearing force. In the sliding layer, undesirable noise generation is difficult, and even when a load transmission portion of an end portion of the sliding side leaf spring partially abuts the sliding layer, undesirable noise generation can be prevented.Type: GrantFiled: July 4, 2011Date of Patent: March 15, 2016Assignee: NHK SPRING CO., LTD.Inventors: Junichi Yano, Naoshi Sato, Noritoshi Sakaide

Patent number: 8662511Abstract: A suspension device for suspension of an axle 2 by an intermediate portion of a single leaf spring 5 has first restriction means which restricts, upon breakage of the leaf spring 5 at a position behind the intermediate portion of the spring, the rear portion of the leaf spring 5 from tilting downwardly relative to a shackle 6, and a second restriction means (retainer pawl 13) for restriction of the shackle 6 from pivotally moving backward beyond a predetermined angle. The first restriction means is constituted by a bush 12 with projections 12b which is arranged at a connection between the shackle 6 and the rear end of the leaf spring 5 for integral rotation with the rear end of the leaf spring 5 and engages with the shackle 6 at a predetermined rotary position.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2011Date of Patent: March 4, 2014Assignees: Hino Motors, Ltd., NHK Spring Co., LtdInventors: Mitsuru Enomoto, Naoshi Sato, Yoshiharu Sugawara, Nobuhiro Shibuya

Patent number: 5400266Abstract: A method for monitoring an error performance of each call in a digital exchange circuit has a plurality of subscriber terminals. The overall transmission system includes a plurality of circuits forming transit paths connecting the exchange circuit with each of the subscriber terminals. The method includes the steps of collecting and storing error check information of each transit path together with collected time of the information, and collecting and storing call information of each call. The call information includes call identification with terminal numbers of an originating subscriber terminal and a terminating terminal, transmission rate, start time and end time of a call, and the circuits through which the call is routed. A circuit accommodation database information is provided, which indicates which of the plurality of circuits form a path for each call.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1993Date of Patent: March 21, 1995Assignee: Nippon Telegraph and Telephone CorporationInventors: Naoshi Sato, Kazumi Hata, Hideyo Murakami
