  • Patent number: 8372890
Abstract: Components that demonstrate an ?-glucosidase inhibitory activity and hyperglycemic inhibitory activity have clearly been provided from among the components included in Yacon. The present inventors found that as a result of screening for a strong anti-oxidant component in a Yacon aerial portion extract, an antioxidant activity was converged in a DIAION HP-20 column chromatography 50% methanol-eluted fraction of hot water extract. Thus, since a previously unidentified high-content component was confirmed, the present inventors conducted purification thereof, and thereby separated TCAA. As a result, this TCAA was found to be the component that demonstrates the ?-glucosidase inhibitory activity and hyperglycemic inhibitory activity.

  • Publication number: 20110265466
Abstract: An exhaust throttle valve 1 includes a housing 2 formed with a gas passage 2a, first and second valve shafts 3 and 4 rotatably journaled in the housing 2, a large valve body 5 connected to the first valve shaft, and a small valve body 6 connected the second valve shaft. A communication hole 17 is provided in the large valve body, and urging means that urges the small valve body in a direction of abutting against the large valve body is provided in the second valve shaft. When the large valve body closes the gas passage and pressure of a gas in the gas passage increases from a state where the small valve body closes the communication hole (FIG. 2(b)), the small valve body is separated from the large valve body against an urging force of the urging means to open the communication hole (FIG. 2(c)). With an easy configuration, exhaust gas pressure can be adjusted without depending on a gas temperature deference.

  • Publication number: 20100242374
Abstract: In a polishing composition, the concentration of one of either sodium ions or acetate ions is 10 ppb or less, or the concentrations of sodium ions and acetate ions are 10 ppb or less. The polishing composition preferably contains a water soluble polymer such as hydroxyethylcellulose, an alkali such as ammonia, and abrasive grains such as colloidal silica. The polishing composition is mainly used in polishing of the surfaces of semiconductor wafers such as silicon wafers, especially used in finish polishing of the surfaces of such wafers.

The escaping groove 21 is provided in a side plate 4, and a wall surface 21A of the escaping groove which becomes the back side of the rotational direction of the vane at the time of the reverse rotation of the vane 6 becomes an inclined surface whose opening side is further expanded than a bottom 21B of the escaping groove 21. The other wall surface 21C of the escaping groove 21 also is preferably made into the inclined surface whose opening side is further expanded than the bottom.

  • Patent number: 7644860
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a first recording medium, a password input unit, a password judging unit, and a condition judging unit. The first recording medium is capable of recording programs and data. The password input unit requests a user to input a password. The password judging unit judges whether a password inputted to the password input unit and a password stored in advance coincide with each other. The condition judging unit judges, when the apparatus is started, whether a condition set in advance is satisfied. When the condition set in advance is satisfied, the information processing apparatus sets a self-erasing program in the first recording medium. The first recording medium self-erases programs and data recorded in the first recording medium according to the self-erasing program.
