Publication number: 20210171880Abstract: The present invention relates to a pre-treatment composition for the cleaning of fabrics, especially a sprayable foamable liquid cleaning composition. It is an object of the present invention to provide a sprayable foamable liquid cleaning composition for the pretreatment of fabric which has superior soil removal properties for a wide variety of stains. It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a foamable cleaning composition having a pH of less than 4 which provides good stain removal benefits without compromising on the stability of the isotropic solution or foam structure. We have found that a foamable liquid composition providing a stable foam which exhibits dilutability, homogeneity in solution, excellent cleaning performance on various stain types can be prepared when higher levels of solvents and low pH are combined with specific amounts of alkoxylated anionic surfactant, nonionic surfactant, amphoteric surfactant and at specific ratios between the surfactant and solvents.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 4, 2018Publication date: June 10, 2021Applicant: Conopco, Inc., d/b/a UNILEVERInventors: Koushik ACHARYA, Arpita SARKAR, Narayanan SUBRAHMANIAM

Patent number: 8800089Abstract: The present invention is in the field of tooth cleaning devices, especially electrical toothbrushes. The invention further relates to the use of an air/water jet for the cleaning of teeth. A process for cleaning teeth that incorporates a water jet for cleaning teeth remains to be desired, especially a single device that can be employed to clean teeth and reliably deposit material onto teeth. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a process for cleaning teeth with an electrical toothbrush device providing improved cleaning by means of an externally mixed air-water jet wherein the water dosing is not influenced by the air pressure. Surprisingly it has been found that a tooth brush device, comprising an air/water jet, wherein the air and water are mixed outside the nozzle(s), provides improved cleaning of dental surfaces, including inter-proximal areas, with low usage of water.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2010Date of Patent: August 12, 2014Assignee: Conopco, Inc.Inventors: Kirtan Shravan Kamkar, Amit Sah, Rudra Saurabh Shresth, Narayanan Subrahmaniam, Suresh Sambamurthy Jayaraman

Patent number: 8685174Abstract: The present invention is in the field of household cleaning tools. The invention further relates to the use of an air-water jet for the cleaning of hardsurfaces. It is an object of the present invention to provide easier cleaning of hard surfaces. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a process of easier cleaning of hard surfaces, especially by means of a device that uses a relatively low water flow rate. Surprisingly it has been found that an external mix air-water jet device may be used for cleaning hard surfaces.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2010Date of Patent: April 1, 2014Assignee: Conopco, Inc.Inventors: Richa Sureshchand Goyal, Kirtan Shravan Kamkar, Amit Sah, Rudra Saurabh Shresth, Narayanan Subrahmaniam, Stephen John Singleton

Publication number: 20130289501Abstract: The present invention is in the field skin treatment, in particular and deep pore cleansing and delivery of benefit agents deep inside the pores. The invention further relates to air-water jet devices for providing said skin treatment. Accordingly it is an object of the invention to provide for a device and process for deep pore skin cleansing, especially, a process for skin cleansing using reduced amounts of water. We have found that a skin cleaning device comprising an air-water jet, wherein the air and water are mixed outside the nozzle(s), provides improved cleansing of skin, including deep poor cleansing, with low usage of water.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2011Publication date: October 31, 2013Inventors: Arpita Bhattacharya, Sudipta Ghosh Dastidar, Alagirisamy Nethaji, Rudra Saurabh Shresth, Narayanan Subrahmaniam
