  • Publication number: 20190269992
Abstract: A shelf is configured for use with a weight rack including first and second vertical members extending generally parallel to each other and positioned in spaced relation to each other. The shelf supports one or more free weights and has first and second opposed ends and front and rear sides extending between the ends, where the first end of the shelf is connected to the first vertical member and the second end of the shelf is connected to the second vertical member, such that the first and second vertical members support the entire weight of the shelf. The shelf may include a rotation limiting structure to limit rotation of the shelf with respect to the vertical members. A weight rack may be outfitted with one or more such shelves, and in one configuration, the weight rack may include a number (N) of adjacent shelf stacks supported by number (N+1) of vertical members.

  • Publication number: 20190247701
Abstract: A bracket assembly includes a back plate with outer and inner sides and a pin opening extending therethrough. A clasp member has an extending portion and an encasing portion extending from the extending portion. The extending and encasing portions and the inner side of the body define a channel configured to receive a rack beam. A pin seated in the pin opening has a shank, and a head at the outer side of the back plate. The shank extends through the opening into the channel. The shank is configured to engage the rack beam within the channel. The head is welded to the outer side of the back plate. An extension member defines a support surface and includes pair of substantially J-shaped plates and a cover nested with the plates such that it forms the entire support surface and is substantially flush with sides of the substantially J-shaped plates.

  • Publication number: 20190126088
Abstract: A weightlifting assembly includes a wall mount bracket configured for mounting to a wall surface and a weightlifting rack assembly connected to the wall mount bracket. The weightlifting rack assembly may have various configurations, including a foldable weight rack assembly, a pull-up bar, a fixed weightlifting rack, a wall-mount weightlifting rack, or various other configurations. The wall mount bracket may be elongated along a lateral width thereof and may have a first mounting region and a second mounting region spaced from each other along the lateral width the wall mount bracket. The wall mount bracket may also include a central panel that is spaced from the wall surface to provide clearance for fasteners for connection to the weightlifting rack assembly, and in some embodiments, the weightlifting rack assembly may be connected to multiple wall mount panels.

  • Patent number: 10226661
Abstract: An upper wall mount bracket configured for use with a foldable weightlifting rack assembly including a central panel, a top wall mount panel and a bottom wall mount panel. The top wall mount panel and the bottom wall mount panel are substantially planar and offset from the central panel. The top wall mount panel and the bottom mount panel are positionable to overlie a wall surface, and including at least one slot extending therethrough configured to receive a fastener therethrough to, in turn, couple the upper wall mount bracket to the wall surface. The central panel has a first side mounting region proximate to a first end thereof and a second side mounting region proximate a second end thereof. An upper rack mount assembly may be configured for use in association with the foldable weightlifting rack assembly and the upper wall mount bracket.
