  • Publication number: 20230065999
Abstract: Provided are concepts for generating an augmented clinical note by determining target subject information based on an identified data type of the clinical note, and inserting an identifier to a location of the target information in the clinical note. In particular, a natural language processing algorithm is used to process content of the clinical note in order to identify a data type, which is used to determine target subject information. Using this concept, clinical notes with automatically generated identifiers to locations of target subject information may be obtained. This may obviate the need for manual duplication of information, ultimately reducing errors and a time taken for a user to produce clinical notes, as well as making target subject information easier for a reader to obtain.

  • Patent number: 8896414
Abstract: The invention relates to synchronizing settings in a home control system such as settings for lighting scenes in a lighting system with a plurality of light units. A basic idea of the invention is to synchronize settings such as lighting scene settings in a home control system with a network of devices such as light units and multiple control devices for controlling the network devices. An embodiment of the invention provides a device (Sync) for synchronizing settings in a home control system comprising a memory (12) for storing settings of one or more of devices (L1-L9) of the home control system, a communication unit (14) for receiving signals (16) from and transmitting signals (18) to control devices (RC3-RC 4) of the home control system, and a processor (10) for synchronizing stored settings in the home control system upon receipt of a signal (16) from a control device (RC3, RC4) of the home control system by transmitting a synchronization signal (18).

  • Publication number: 20080227392
Abstract: A method and system are provided for electronic devices (10i, 30i, 40i, 50i, 60i) in a home network to have a sense area (310) for detecting one another. This sense area (310) eliminates participation of outsiders in a home network (100, 300, 400, 500, 600). To allow sense areas that are particular (110) to a given device type, in an alternative embodiment, the size and shape of the particularized (110) sense areas can be made to depend on device characteristics, such as portability, and the sensitivity of the device can be adjusted to meet device requirements. Devices (10i, 30i, 40i, 50i, 60i) are placed near to one another to form a network and if no device is sensed communication and display of one another's user interfaces is optionally disabled so others cannot see the device, e.g., when the device (10i, 30i, 40i, 50i, 60i) is removed from its home network (100, 300, 400, 500, 600).
