  • Patent number: 8362686
Abstract: A substrate bearing, on one main face, a composite electrode, which includes an electroconductive network which is a layer formed from strands made of an electroconductive material based on a metal and/or a metal oxide, and having a light transmission of at least 60% at 550 nm, the space between the strands of the network being filled by an electroconductive fill material. The composite electrode also includes an electroconductive coating, which may or may not be different from the fill material, covering the electroconductive network, and in electrical connection with the strands, having a thickness greater than or equal to 40 nm, of resistivity ?1 less than 105 ?·cm and greater than the resistivity of the network, the coating forming a smoothed outer surface of the electrode. The composite electrode additionally has a sheet resistance less than or equal to 10?/?.

  • Patent number: 8092913
Abstract: The invention provides a process for obtaining a hydrophobic/oleophobic coating on a substrate of a glass, ceramic or vitroceramic material by applying a priming layer obtained from a priming agent of formula: (X1)3-q(R1)qSi—R3-Si(X2)3-q,(R2)q, the variables of which are defined in the specification and then depositing a hydrophobic coating containing a fluorinated alkylsilane.

  • Publication number: 20100101649
Abstract: The present invention relates to a substrate (1) coated with a porous coating (2), to the processes for manufacturing the coating, and to its applications. The porous coating (2) is essentially mineral and of the sol-gel type, having a series of closed pores with at least the smallest characteristic dimension being, on average, equal to or greater than 20 nm but less than or equal to 100 nm.

  • Publication number: 20090214809
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydrophobic coating for a glass, ceramic or vitroceramic substrate, characterized in that it comprises two layers: a priming layer directly applied onto said substrate and comprising groups Si—R3—Si, R3 being chosen from the group constituted by linear, branched or aromatic, preferably linear, alkyl chains in which the number of carbons establishing the bond between the two silicon atoms is less than 6 and is preferably between 1 and 4, a coating layer in connection with said priming layer and comprising an alkylsilane with a hydrophobic/oleophobic perfluorinated end group. The invention also relates to a process for obtaining such a coating on a substrate as described previously, and also to the substrate itself, of the monolithic, laminated or multiple glazing type, equipped on at least part of at least one of its surfaces with said coating.
