Abstract: A system and apparatus which produces a product from a custom apparel pattern in electronic format is disclosed. The system converts custom apparel patterns in electronic format to identifiable apparel pieces ready to sew into a custom article of apparel. A projector receives digital data and projects a true image of the complete apparel pattern onto a surface over which a web of fabric has been positioned. A person is then able to identify and the pattern pieces by following the projected pattern lines, which can then be cut out by using various means including roller cutters or scissors cutters.

Abstract: Paint compositions useful for automotive applications are made using a one tank process with an associated circulation loop. Addition ports located in close proximity to a zone of high speed mixing allows for rapid blending of materials into the process stream. A bypass subloop connected to the circulation loop will divert paint to grinding apparatus achieve addition of pigments on-line. Instrumentation attached to the circulation loop directly measures the process stream parameters such as viscosity, pH, temperature, and pressure.

Abstract: A power-driven, wheeled vehicle which interacts automatically with winders in a spinning area to doff completed yarn packages, insert empty bobbins on standby chucks of the winder, deliver the packages to an overhead powered conveyor to place the winder in condition for another cycle and to move to another winder to repeat the operations.

Abstract: In a yarn winding apparatus that includes a pair of windup chucks alternately movable into engagement with a drive roll for winding yarn on package supports carried by the chuck, the improvement comprises a device to provide a preselected constant force between the yarn package being formed and the drive roll and to release the force while a full package is being doffed and new package is started.
