  • Patent number: 7510650
Abstract: A filtering device suitable for filtering a flow of fluid in a channel includes a plurality of filter elements coupled to one another to define a filter loop. The filter loop is configured to position a filter element in the channel to filter a portion of the flow of fluid. The filtering device also includes a plurality of resilient seal members. Each seal member is coupled to one of the plurality of filter elements such that the seal member is at least partially compressed by an adjacent filter element. At least one seal member inhibits the flow of fluid between the filter element to which the seal member is attached and the adjacent filter element.
