  • Patent number: 9878187
Abstract: A system for mounting a stanchion on a structure includes a base plate, a stanchion coupled to the base plate, and a number of base plate flanges coupled to the base plate. The base plate flanges to couple the base plate to at least one joist of the structure. The stanchion protrudes through the surface of the structure to a first side of the structure while the base plate and the base plate flanges remain on a second side of the surface of the structure.

  • Patent number: 7661240
Abstract: A roof top structure support has a flat bottom rigid base to be positioned on a roof and spread the load supported by the support substantially evenly over the surface of the base in contact with the roof. A tower rises from the base and includes a slot across the top thereof and a bore therein extending downwardly from the bottom of the slot and adapted to receive a threaded rod therein. The slot in the top of the tower is sized to receive a strut therein. A bolt extending through the strut and into the bore secures the strut to the support. Struts and other structures can be supported above the tower and slot by threaded rod such as “all thread” screwed into and extending from the bore.

  • Publication number: 20040113025
Abstract: Pipe supporting devices that receive and supports a pipe, especially a pipe exposed on a horizontal surface like a roof. The device has a base with a substantially flat bottom for resting on the horizontal surface and a supporting structure rising from the base to support the pipe. The supporting structure comprises a horizontal rod that is connected between vertical supports using a looped bracket. The looped bracket can be quickly and easily made. Positioning means can be provided on the horizontal rod to position and center the pipe between the vertical supports.

  • Patent number: 6520456
Abstract: A device or apparatus that receives and supports a pipe, especially a pipe exposed on a horizontal surface like a roof. The device has a base with a substantially flat bottom for resting on the horizontal surface and a supporting structure with a recess rising from the base to support the pipe. Positioning means are provided in the bottom of the recess to position and center the pipe within the recess. Such a device maximizes the sliding ability of the pipe and minimize erosion of the recess since the pipe rarely abuts the walls of the recess.

  • Patent number: 6364256
Abstract: A roof top pipe support includes a base having a substantially flat bottom to rest on the roof. At least one, and preferably a pair of raised portions provide a pair of stud-receiving holes in the base to receive and direct studs, preferably threaded studs, upwardly from the base. The raised portion also can receive and support a pipe supporting roller. A pipe support such as a pipe supporting roller or a strut also can extend between upwardly extending studs and be adjustably secured to the studs so the height of the pipe support can be adjusted. Either pipe support can be used depending upon conditions and the height of the support needed.
