  • Publication number: 20160048784
Abstract: A system for efficient allocation of resources in a financial services branch includes a branch computer system and a remote solutions server which are in communication with a core banking server. The branch computer system includes various computer, network devices and equipment for branch operations. A plurality of customer devices, such as smartphones and tablet computers, can be connected to a remote solutions server. Each such device can be pre-configured with a remote banking application (“app”) allowing a respective customer to use the device to communicate with the remote solutions server to perform the remote banking. The remote solutions server facilitates remote banking wherein transactions can be completed using in-branch banking equipment. Additionally, the banking customer may schedule time with banking personnel using this application, wherein the meeting can take place at the same branch where the transaction will be completed.

  • Publication number: 20130204731
Abstract: The system and method of this disclosure provides a digital media distribution system wherein the content producer interacts directly with the customers or fans of the content producer through the system. The content producer obtains the ability to use the distribution system by paying the owner of the system for access and usage rights. The system allows direct transactions to occur without such transaction occurring through a middleman who keeps a percentage of the transaction fees or through a gate-keeper who makes an editorial decision as to the worthiness and placement of the content within the gate-keeper's system.

  • Publication number: 20070131234
Abstract: An outdoor smoking system including a smoking device coupled to a cooking vessel. The smoking device includes a feed chute for continuously supplying fuel to a burning chamber without user intervention. The feed chute is positioned above the burning chamber to gravity feed the fuel into the burning chamber. A grate positioned in the bottom wall of the burning chamber allows ash created by the burning to fall out of the chamber into an ash tray. As ash leaves the chamber through the grate, additional fuel in the feed chute is allowed to enter, maintaining a substantially constant burning mass in the burning chamber.

  • Patent number: 5971251
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of welding terminal end connectors to wires in a flat flexible cable for use in vehicle wiring harnesses. The flat flexible cable includes a plurality of wires spaced apart from one another and surrounded by an insulating coating. A terminal with a tab is welded to each wire in the flat flexible cable. The welding method includes placing the tab portion of the terminal underneath one of the wires in the flat flexible cable. A tooling base supports the tab and the flat flexible cable. A tooling head engages the insulating coating along the top surface of the wire and moves in a path along the wire. The heat resulting from the friction between the tooling head and the insulating coating causes the insulating coating to flow away from the tooling head to expose the wire and frictionally weld the bottom surface of the wire to the top surface of the tab.
