  • Publication number: 20210402916
Abstract: An agricultural work vehicle for operating in a field includes a chassis, a cab mounted to the chassis, a controller for controlling operation of the work vehicle, and a lighting system including a array field light. The controller is in communication with a field map input, and the array field light projects a light emission to illuminate a zone. A light control module is disposed in electrical communication with the controller and operably controls the array field light. Upon identifying an object in the field based on the field map input, the controller determines if the object is in the zone. If the object is in the zone, the light control module controllably adjusts an output from the array field light based on a location of the object in the zone.

  • Publication number: 20210354618
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for roadway illumination by an industrial vehicle are disclosed. A work light of the industrial vehicle is operated to provide illumination to an area located between a forward end of the industrial vehicle and an area illuminated by a low beam light. The work light and the low beam light are operated together to provide improved illumination during travel of the industrial vehicle along the roadway while promoting visibility of operators of oncoming vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20210339809
Abstract: Systems and methods for targeted illumination of an object coupled to a machine, such as an implement coupled to an agricultural vehicle, are disclosed. The systems and methods include sensing an area adjacent to the machine, determining whether an implement is present in the sensed area, and providing targeted illumination to the detected object while avoiding the provision of light to the area that is not occupied by the object.

  • Patent number: 11002049
Abstract: A latch mechanism having a quick turn and release feature where the latch mechanism comprises a first body member having at least one actuation device. A second body member is coupled to the first body member and includes at least one aperture and pin receiving channel formed therein. A pin element is coupled to the second body member and includes a first pin portion and a second pin portion. The first pin portion and the second pin portion are respectively arranged to extend axially within the pin receiving channel of the second body member such that an upward rotation of the actuation device in a counterclockwise direction releasably disengages the pin element from a shaft of one or more hinges of the door assembly to allow an operator to exit an operator cab of the work vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20200399855
Abstract: A propulsion control system includes a travel motor configured to be actuated to drive the track assembly in the forward and reverse travel directions; a propulsion control device actuated in first and second input directions; and a propulsion switching mechanism. In a first propulsion direction mode, when the control device is actuated in the first input direction, the travel motor is actuated to drive in the forward travel direction, and when the control device is actuated in the second input direction, the travel motor is actuated to drive in the reverse travel direction. In a second propulsion direction mode, when the control device is actuated in the first input direction, the travel motor is actuated to drive in the reverse travel direction, and when the control device is actuated in the second input direction, the travel motor is actuated to drive in the forward travel direction.

  • Publication number: 20200346579
Abstract: A harvester including a header having a first illumination device positioned on a right outermost arm of the header and a second illumination device positioned on a left outermost arm on the header. The first and second illumination devices each project a spot beam of light in a corresponding direction of travel of the harvester to illuminate a right edge travel path of the right outermost arm and to illuminate a left edge travel path of the left outermost arm. The first and second illumination devices, respectively, are configured to illuminate right and left crop dividers, respectively, mounted on the right and left outermost arms. The harvester may include an auto-steering system to rotate a steering wheel of the harvester to a designated steering angle and to rotate the first and second illumination devices to a first and second angle, respectively, that correspond to the designated steering angle.
