  • Patent number: 11773574
Abstract: A stopper cartridge for a drain system of a fluid basin, components thereof and related methods are provided. The stopper cartridge includes a stopper head and a strainer to strain fluid passing through the drain system when the stopper head is in a drain position. The stopper head and the strainer may be selectively removable from the drain system by manipulating the stopper head relative to the drain system or a component installed in the drain system.

  • Patent number: 11391027
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a strainer cartridge that may be inserted into a drain of a drain system. The strainer cartridge includes an upper strainer portion and a lower strainer portion that are telescopically engaged with each other such that the upper strainer portion is moved into and out of the lower strainer portion telescopically. The strainer cartridge has a compressed position in which a drain opening of the drain is sealed off such that fluid collects within a fluid basin in fluid communication with the drain, and the strainer cartridge has an expanded position in which fluid may flow through the drain opening and the upper and lower strainer portions. When in the compressed position, the lower strainer portion is telescopically inset within the lower strainer portion, and, when in the expanded position, the upper strainer portion extends outward from the lower strainer portion.

  • Patent number: 11142812
Abstract: A multicaloric alloy material combines two isostructural compounds, the first compound being MnNiSi and the second compound being either MnFeGe or CoFeGe, each such compound having extremely different magnetic and thermo-structural properties. The resulting alloy material (MnNiSi)1-x(MnFeGe)x or (MnNiSi)1-x(CoFeGe)x possesses extraordinary magnetocaloric and/or barocaloric properties with an acute sensitivity to applied pressure and no appreciable magnetic hysteresis losses.

  • Publication number: 20210019846
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology provide an integrated platform that automates task generation for real-estate service management. The system and method are useful for buyers, agents, realtors, vendors, and financial institutions involved in the transaction and maintenance of a real-estate property. More specifically, some embodiments of the present technology relate to platforms for sharing, modifying, automating, and scheduling real-estate content (e.g., contracts, documents, articles, etc.) In accordance with various embodiments, the cloud-based property service platform can extract data from various cloud databases such as 3rd party, vendors, and clients and generate tasks for each user. Documents shared between various users initiate a parallel partition of tasks that are ordered based on the user roles and intermittent process (e.g., reviewing, updating, processing, etc.) completed by other parties (e.g., lenders, other agents, etc.).

  • Publication number: 20080276623
Abstract: Specific embodiments of magnetocaloric materials useful in magnetic refrigeration systems, for example, are disclosed. The magnetocaloric materials include nickel-manganese-gallium (NiMnGa) alloys in which substitution is made from some of the manganese. Copper is preferably substituted for at least some of the manganese, but cobalt or a combination of cobalt and copper could also be substituted for at least some of the manganese. In the preferred embodiment, the material comprises a nickel-manganese-copper-gallium of the composition Ni2Mn1-xCuxGa, where x is greater than or equal to about 0.22.

  • Publication number: 20020077904
Abstract: A facility for operating a loyalty program is described. The facility monitors purchases made by each of a plurality of customers from merchants that are among a limited set of merchants. The facility then conveys to customers among the plurality—selected based upon their monitored purchases—a financial instrument having a face value, whose acquisition cost is less than that face value.
