  • Patent number: 11612868
Abstract: A granular coating conveyor system for coating granular particles carried in compartments along a tubular conveyor member. Coating fluid is fed over the granular particles through radial nozzles located inside a co-axial rotating blender with tubular member upstream discharge port and tubular member downstream return ingress port for the granular particles. The blender is a drum having a helicoidal spiral screw integrally mounted to an interior peripheral wall face of the drum and extending therealong radially outwardly of the tubular member mixing in the drum in tumbling fashion the granular particles with coating fluid and guiding same therealong, so as to dynamically form a kidney shape mass of granular particles.

  • Patent number: 10479608
Abstract: A linked disc assembly for use in continuous chain tensioning assemblies in tubular chain drag conveyors, comprising link members and alternating double ear disc members. Each disc member comprises a disc plate and an ear member transversely projecting therefrom. Each ear member consists of an arcuate leg defining a channel extending parallel to the disc plate and hingedly engaged by a link member. Each open chain link member defines a spacing gap. Each ear member arcuate leg defines a transverse notch adjacent a corresponding disc plate, the notch sized and shaped complementarily to the link member gap so as to form a sliding ramp for manual guided quick release through passage of a link member.

  • Patent number: 8197174
Abstract: The automatic bag opening and slitting machine has a spike star wheels assembly comprising either of one or a combination of star wheels or cylindroid drum like object. The star wheels assembly is provided with spikes which convey a bag, impaled on the spikes when in an extended position, and extends beneath rotary cutting disks driven by two independent pneumatic or electric motors, that may make a continuous cut around three sides of the bag, so that after cutting thereof, the bag comprises two halves joined only at the rear or trailing side of the bag.

  • Publication number: 20030010602
Abstract: An endless chain running through a tubular conveyor sleeve, for conveying articles from an inlet to an outlet, the endless chain being tensioned between two sprocket wheels. The endless chain comprises chain links, some of them having transportation discs attached thereto. The transportation discs comprise at least two portions attached together around and against the corresponding chain links.
