Patent number: 11818474Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may receive sensor data from an image sensor having a pixel array including color pixel sensors and panchromatic pixel sensors in a first pattern. Each of the color pixel sensors is associated with one of several color channels. The computing system may generate, based on the sensor data, a filtered monochrome image including monochrome values corresponding to the pixel array of the image sensor. The computing system may generate a filtered color image having a second pattern of color channels. A first pixel of a particular color channel at a first pixel location in the filtered color image is determined based on the monochrome value corresponding to the first pixel location in the filtered monochrome image, the sensor data measured by a color pixel sensor at a second pixel location, and the monochrome value at the second pixel location in the filtered monochrome image.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 2022Date of Patent: November 14, 2023Assignee: Meta Platforms Technologies, LLCInventors: Alex Locher, Naveen Makineni, Oskar Linde, John Enders Robertson, Anthony Aslan Tenggoro

Publication number: 20220366820Abstract: In one embodiment, one or more computing systems may determine a first display content to be displayed on a display. The first display content may be associated with one or more frames. The one or more computing systems may determine an optimization operation for the first display content based on one or more first parameters associated with the display or one or more second parameters associated with the one or more frames. The one or more computing systems may adjust the one or more frames based on the optimization operation. The adjusted one or more frames may have at least one optimized attribute comparing to the one or more frames before being adjusted. The one or more computing systems may output the adjusted one or more frames to the display to represent the first display content.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 27, 2022Publication date: November 17, 2022Inventors: Nilanjan Goswami, Michael Yee, Morgyn Taylor, Patrick Mccleary, Naveen Makineni, Aaron Young, Zhi Zhou, Richard Lawrence Greene, Richard Webb, Cheng Chang

Patent number: 10728821Abstract: The claimed subject matter includes techniques for migrating wireless channels. An example method includes initiating, via a first media access controller on an integrated circuit chip, a first connection on a first wireless channel. The example method also includes performing, via a second media access controller on the integrated circuit chip, a scan on additional wireless channels using a second media access controller. The example method also includes detecting, via the second media access controller, an available wireless channel from the additional wireless channels. The method further includes migrating, via the first media access controller, the first connection from the first wireless channel to the available wireless channel. The method further includes combining the second access media controller with the first media access controller to provide increased throughput or signal quality on the available wireless channel.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2019Date of Patent: July 28, 2020Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Mark W. Casebolt, Naveen Makineni
