  • Patent number: 11635267
Abstract: An apparatus for loading cartridges into a firearms magazine includes a loader body comprising a retainer configured for holding a firearms magazine, and cooperating spring-loaded plungers coupled thereto. A first spring-loaded plunger coupled to the loader body is oriented for pushing one or more cartridges into the firearms magazine so as to depress a magazine spring thereof. A second plunger coupled to the loader body is oriented for inserting cartridges into the firearms magazine without further depressing the magazine spring while the first spring-loaded plunger is depressing the magazine spring. A mechanism automatically resets the first spring-loaded plunger after the second plunger completes insertion of each cartridge into the magazine. All of the foregoing moving parts may be manually or motor driven and fed with cartridges via a hopper.

  • Publication number: 20140263799
Abstract: A retractor mechanism for a pet collar. The mechanism includes a case with a cavity, a spool assembly with a spool plate, a line wound on the spool assembly with a free end exiting the case that is attached to a leash handle, a power spring that biases the spool assembly to a wound state, and a centrifugal/inertial brake having with a lock member with a heavier distal end a lighter proximal end, and lock member spring. The lock member pivots on the spool plate. When the spool assembly is spun above a threshold rotations speed, a centripetal force acting on the distal end of the lock member exceeds a spring force of the lock member spring acting on the proximal end of the lock member, thereby pivoting the lock member into contact with a catch in the cavity of the case to prevent the spool assembly from rotating further.

  • Patent number: 5634336
Abstract: An integrated master cylinder and vacuum power booster provides a brake apply system wherein the master cylinder and power booster are structurally and functionally combined together to provide a uniquely packaged system. The integral system includes a master cylinder housing having a tubular extension that carries the power booster housing with at least two operating chambers. A power piston is movable by variable pressure levels between the two chambers. The power piston cooperates with a translating element carried within the tubular extension to communicate sliding movement of the power piston to the master cylinder piston.

  • Patent number: 5570622
Abstract: A guide rod extends longitudinally through the power piston of a vacuum power booster providing lateral support thereto and tying the master cylinder housing to a bracket on the rear of the power booster housing. A guide rod provides a means of positively laterally supporting the power piston, control valve and push rods of the power booster thereby providing the ability to reduce the relative supportive strength of the housing, housing divider and piston bearings.

  • Patent number: 5495134
Abstract: A brush holder body for a dynamoelectric machine comprising a molded body, integrated cantilever fingers molded into the body, the cantilever fingers extending radially inward from distal portions of the body, the cantilever fingers having a normal position into which they are molded extending at an angle to a plane of a commutator clearance opening the angle having a direction extending away from a motor armature position, wherein the cantilever finger is flexible and upon receipt of a force, flex in the direction of the armature, wherein the brush holder also comprises a snap feature for retaining the cantilever finger in a second position in which the cantilever finger prevents movement of a brush into the commutator clearance opening, wherein in the normal position, the cantilever finger allows movement of the brush into the commutator clearance opening and the cantilever finger does not contact a commutator of the dynamoelectric machine.
