  • Publication number: 20110256914
Abstract: A method for engaging a player or a pair of players in a motion related game including the steps of attaching plural geometrical colored elements onto selected portions of the player(s) garments and processing a video stream of each of the players to separately identify the positions, velocities an accelerations of the colored elements. The method further comprises generation of a combatant competitor image and moving the image in a manor to overcome the player. In a further approach, two players are recorded and their video images are presented one screens frontal to the other of the players. The same colored elements are used to enable controller calculations of fighting proficiency of the players and enable assisted learning.

  • Publication number: 20110173968
Abstract: An energy converter apparatus connected via a rope between a buoyant marine vessel body and to a stationary or semi stationary surface with respect to the motions of the marine vessel to convert differential motions of the vessel compared to the stationary body to useful electrical energy; a rack and pinion gear box device causing the linear motions of the buoyant vessel to an axial rotational motions, the rotation in only one direction; a ratchet wheel connected to a shaft and an electric generator.

  • Patent number: 7980832
Abstract: A stationary structure is mounted on the floor of an ocean or other body of water subject to wave motion. The structure provides a floatation body that moves with the waves and is able to drive a sealing plate in a compression chamber. When the water level changes, or wave action magnitude changes, a second sealing plate is able to move automatically to maintain a constant size of the compression chamber. Air compressed in the chamber is let into a tank to maintain a constant elevated pressure in the tank and the air pressure is used to power a turbine to generate electricity. In an alternate embodiment, a mechanical linkage drives the turbine directly.

  • Publication number: 20100244451
Abstract: A stationary structure comprising a frame supported by an ocean surface and a subsurface buoyant body while extending above the ocean surface, the frame supporting a buoyant body floating on the ocean surface and freely riding on the frame according to the ocean wave motion. The floatation body that moves with the waves and the linear motion of the waves are translated to rotational motion to energize a generator. When the water level changes, the generator and the associated mechanical and electrical to structure is automatically adjusted to maintain the effectiveness of the system.

  • Patent number: 7529404
Abstract: An apparatus for video digital color pixel filtering and digital image processing that eliminates the need for Furrier Transforms, thus eliminating time-consuming multiplication and additions. It utilizes a new distributed computer architecture that operates in conjunction with First In First Out memories, utilizing simple software for each processor to minimize latency issues of real time interactive digital image processing. The distributed processing architecture is set up to operate in a manner similar to factory assembly lines, wherein FIFO's carry semi processed data from one processor to another. A unique memory based system is used to measure motion vectors including distances and rotational vectors, of moving objects moving in a six degree of freedom.

  • Patent number: 5791207
Abstract: A fastener feeding apparatus provides an aperture for inserting fasteners into the interior of the apparatus so that the fastener lies on the longitudinal axis of the apparatus. A bit is then forced into contact with the fastener in order to engage it for mutual rotation and translation. A set of flexible leaves are preformed to press inwardly against the shank of the fastener so as to maintain its axial orientation. The bit is driven to force the fastener to move through the apparatus while rotating. The leaves move radially outwardly to accommodate the head of the fastener.

  • Patent number: 5546668
Abstract: A contour tracing device provides a housing unit which holds a series of parallel probe rods. The rods extend from the housing side walls, and are restrained to sliding, linear motion with respect to the housing. When the ends of the rods are pressed against a surface, they move relative to the housing so as to reflect the surface's contour and maintain their position until manual pressure is again applied. The device may include a lever for locking the rods in a desired configuration, thus preventing the rod positions from being inadvertently altered. The tracing device may include a level indicating device.
