Patent number: 11862330Abstract: Contemplated systems and methods provide an integration platform to facilitate the exchange of information between RFID tagged objects and non-RFID systems. In especially preferred aspects, RFID tagged objects include patients, personnel, and assets of a healthcare facility, while preferred non-RFID systems include asset management systems, timekeeping systems, electronic medical records systems, and hospital and pharmacy information systems. Contemplated systems and methods will apply rules to associate RFID information with events, which will then be correlated with appropriate steps that can be effected in a varied and automated manner. In further preferred aspects, RFID technology is employed to upgrade patient telemetry to provide positional information the hospital system.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2020Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: Tagnos, Inc.Inventors: Neeraj Bhavani, Jagadesh Appla Padala

Publication number: 20210391062Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for an AI learning system to predict patient length of stay (LOS) in healthcare facilities. The AI learning systems uses historic data from a healthcare facility and demographic data local to the facility to develop a predictive model for LOS for a patient. The system uses the contemporaneous data from the healthcare facility related to patient treatment and healthcare resources to predict LOS continuously from patient admittance to discharge. Patients with predicted LOS greater than an insurance reimbursed maximum are flagged as at risk and blocking factors are identified. The system recommends proactive steps to resolve the blocking factors and reduce the LOS for at risk patients. The system self modifies the model to minimize the delta between predicted LOS and actual LOS.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 11, 2020Publication date: December 16, 2021Inventor: Neeraj BHAVANI

Patent number: 11170324Abstract: A system and method for intelligently routing patients on-the-fly inside a hospital is contemplated. Patients and resources are tagged to allow a central clearing house to track their location. Using the location information, the central clearing house can then dispatch commands to bring patients to resources, or vice versa. The tags can be any type of real-time location system, including ultrasound or radio frequency identification tags.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2008Date of Patent: November 9, 2021Assignee: TAGNOS, INC.Inventor: Neeraj Bhavani

Patent number: 7492266Abstract: A VoIP communicator utilizes an ultrawide band frequency, sufficient to determine a location of the communicator to within 1 meter, 0.1 meters, or less. The communicator preferably includes a display screen that displays a rich colored asset map. Several novel software functionalities are contemplated, including: (a) reporting the location of the responder as being within one of a plurality of business locations; (b) using scalar vector graphics to display the locations with varying degrees of detail; (c) displaying replay of movements of the assets; (d) displaying utilization profiles of the assets; and (e) coordinating the locations of the at least some of the assets data from a global satellite positioning system (GPS). It is still further contemplated that the inventive system can consolidates output from different types of nominally incompatible equipment.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 2006Date of Patent: February 17, 2009Assignee: Tagnos, Inc.Inventor: Neeraj Bhavani
