  • Publication number: 20230399685
Abstract: Provided herein are methods and systems for detecting tissue conditions. In some aspects, levels of one or more markers of a disease or condition and one or more tissue-specific cell-free polynucleotides are quantified, levels are compared to a reference, and it is determined whether the tissue has been damaged by the disease or condition based on the comparing. Systems for performing the methods described herein are also provided.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 29, 2022
    Publication date: December 14, 2023
Inventors: Michael NERENBERG, Neeraj SALATHIA, Arkaitz IBARRA, Yue ZHAO
  • Publication number: 20220081685
Abstract: Diverse cDNA libraries derived from cell-free mRNA and methods of preparing the same are provided. The library may be prepared by extracting RNA from a bodily fluid such as serum or plasma, separating the RNA from contaminants, synthesizing cDNA with a reverse transcriptase enzyme, and enriching protein-coding nucleotide sequences. The library may include a multiplicity of transcripts from solid tissues. Cf-RNA can be measured by qPCR, sequencing, or other suitable methods.

  • Publication number: 20210130885
Abstract: Presented are methods and compositions for spatial detection and analysis of nucleic acids in a tissue sample. The methods can enable the characterization of transcriptomes and/or genomic variations in tissues while preserving spatial information about the tissue.
