  • Patent number: 11870857
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for performing user account migration between platforms. In one embodiment, a client device is configured to obtain an update to a first application. The update causes the client device to obtain a second application. A first user account on a first platform associated with the first application is migrated to a second user account on a second platform associated with the second application. The client device launches the second application for access to the second user account after the first application is launched.

  • Patent number: 10929829
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for identity verification and account association utilizing the gait of a customer. A camera may be used to obtain image data such as video image data that includes a representation of the customer walking. This may occur as the customer approaches, enters, or otherwise walks about the physical location. One or more computer vision and gait recognition techniques can be applied to the image data to generate a gait signature for the customer. The gait signature can be matched to a stored gait signature that is associated with a particular user account, thereby identifying and associating the customer with that particular user account. The user account can be accessed and certain actions performed by or attributed to the customer can trigger certain events in the user account.

  • Patent number: 10337877
Abstract: A communication system and method for the utilization of LED communication networks to facilitate user interaction. The controller can transmit a unique identification code to each of the LEDs. The client computing device can receive the unique identification code and send the received identification code to the controller. The controller can identify the location of the client computing device based on the received identification code.

  • Patent number: 10034268
Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for enabling communication with a user device using that user device's magnetometer. In some embodiments, a magnetic beacon may generate a sequence of input signals that correspond to activations and deactivations of a magnetic field. A magnetometer in a user device may detect sudden changes in magnetic field and may be used to determine that those changes include a message. In some embodiments, the user device may monitor for an initiation sequence. Upon detecting a sequence of magnetic field activations and deactivations (which may appear to the magnetometer as a sequence of sudden rotational position changes), the user device may interpret a message conveyed by the magnetic beacon. In some embodiments, the user device may communicate the message to a service provider computer, which may subsequently identify additional information related to the message and provide that additional information to the user device.
