  • Publication number: 20210325299
Abstract: A method of digital assessment of chemical dip tests is disclosed. A photograph of a dip tester including a colour change pad is taken with a mobile device, for example a mobile phone. The dip tester is photographed on or alongside a reference card, with both the dip tester and the reference card in the same frame. A processor on the mobile device analyses the photograph thus obtained to determine a value for a characteristic of water being tested. The characteristic may be for example, pH, concentration of iron, concentration of copper. The water may be central heating system water.

  • Patent number: 9406067
Abstract: A system and method of identity verification at a point-of-identification verification (POV) using biometric-based identity recognition and an identity verifying score based upon a presenter's initial identification presentment and their subsequent action in the system. The system also provides tracking and evaluates verifier activity within the system through biometric-based identity recognition and a performance score based upon their actions and the results of their actions within the system. System users register at least one biometric identifier and personal and/or business identity-verifying data. Users present a biometric sample obtained from their person and their system ID number to conduct identification transactions. This data is used to authenticate the user's identity to a percentage of reliability and allows a user with consistently positive ID verifications to establish a higher ID score, strengthening their credibility within the system.

  • Patent number: 9138050
Abstract: A table may be sized and configured to nest with an adjacent table to reduce a height of a plurality of stacked tables in a nested configuration. The table top may include an upper surface, a sidewall and a receiving portion at least partially disposed in the upper surface and the sidewall. The receiving portion may be sized and configured to receive an engaging portion of an adjacent table when the tables are disposed in a nested configuration. The table top may also include a plurality of strengthen members disposed in the lower portion of the table top that are sized and configured to support the receiving portion. For example, the strengthening members may include an inner surface sized and configured to support an inner surface of the receiving portion.

  • Patent number: 8870490
Abstract: The invention disclosed is an adjustable support adapted to support an access hatch frame for access to a sub-surface chamber or the like. The support has a lower frame member that at least in part defines a first aperture, the first aperture having or defining a first plane, the lower frame member having at least one upper interface surface. A similar upper frame is present that defines a second aperture, a second plane, and a lower interface surface. Upper frame member also has number of height adjustable mount points. The upper and lower interface surfaces define an interface plane. Rotation of the upper frame member, relative to said lower frame member on the interface plane, adjusts the relative angle of the two.

  • Publication number: 20140167917
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for disease mapping and infection control. It may collect data from many sources, including through the tracking of Entities and external sources. Such data may be analysed by the system and represented visually. The system further facilitates data modelling. The present invention facilitates calculations of risk and exposure to an infection posed to a person, location or community. The system may be used to test and monitor infection spread and control measures. It can further be configured so as to produce reporting based upon its data to produce information relevant to the creation of infection control policies. The reports may also be utilized to develop standards and measures to improve the operation response to an outbreak of infection within an Institution or a Geographical Area, at the syndromic or pandemic levels.
