Patent number: 9471891Abstract: A system and method for automatic quality control is provided. A database is maintained storing quality control rules for producing a product, the quality control rules determined via a first computing device associated with a first entity controlling production of the product, the database maintained by a second computing device associated with a second entity for maintaining quality control of the product, the product produced by a plurality of production lines respectively associated with third entities. Quality control data is received at the second computing device from data collection devices at the plurality of production lines, each of the data collection devices enabled to collect the quality control data for the product. At the second computing device, the quality control data is compared with the quality control rules; at least one quality control event is triggered when the quality control data fails at least one of the quality control rules.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2011Date of Patent: October 18, 2016Assignee: Nulogy CorporationInventors: Kevin Nelson Wong, Sean Sebastian Kirby, Emily Auban Stover, Jason Dean Tham

Publication number: 20130297461Abstract: According to embodiments described in the specification, a method, system and apparatus for integrating warehouse management and order management are provided. The method comprises: maintaining, in a memory connected to a first server, a first data store comprising a plurality of records representing one or more items at a production site; detecting an event at the first server, the event comprising an update to the first data store; in response to detecting the event, determining whether a further action is required to send at least one outgoing message to one or more of a second server and a third server; and, when the determination is affirmative, generating a the outgoing message and transmitting the message to the one or more of the second server and the third server.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 2, 2012Publication date: November 7, 2013Applicant: NULOGY CORPORATIONInventors: Kevin Nelson WONG, Daniel A. Publication number: 20030173151Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for controlling the stability of elevating systems, such as personnel lifts. In one embodiment, a stability control apparatus includes an angle detector and a signal processor. The angle detector is mounted to a boom of a personnel lift and configured to detect an angle of inclination of the boom relative to an independent reference frame independent of the personnel lift. The signal processor is operatively connected to the angle detector and is configured to receive a first signal initiated by the angle detector when the angle of inclination reaches a predetermined angle. The signal processor is further configured to output a second signal in response to receiving the first signal causing a boom control system to limit movement of the boom relative to the independent reference frame when the angle of inclination reaches the predetermined angle.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 18, 2002Publication date: September 18, 2003Inventors: David D. Bodtke, James Allen Donaldson, Peter Nghia Nguyen, Nelson Wong, Brian Selix

Publication number: 20020148683Abstract: A mobile lift having extendable axes that is capable of switching between front-wheel steer, rear-wheel steer, all-wheel steer, and crab steer without resulting in undesirable tire scrubbing or unfavorable steering geometry. One embodiment provides a mobile personnel lift having a chassis supported by steerable front and rear wheel sets. The steerable wheel sets are mounted on axles that are extendable and retractable. A double-acting hydraulic cylinder is pivotally coupled between each steerable wheel and its corresponding axle for turning the wheel. A microprocessor controls the flow of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic cylinders. Sensors positioned adjacent to each wheel measure the angular position of each wheel relative to the chassis, and transmit this information to the microprocessor to synchronize the wheels as required to provide the optimum steering geometry for the selected mode.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 25, 2002Publication date: October 17, 2002Inventors: James Donaldson, Nelson Wong
