  • Patent number: 11863695
Abstract: A flexible substrate has a first dynamic region separated from a second dynamic region along a central axis by a central region. One or both of the first dynamic region and/or the second dynamic region define at least one aperture having a major axis oriented substantially parallel with the central axis.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 23, 2021
Date of Patent: January 2, 2024
    Assignee: Motorola Mobility LLC

  • Publication number: 20230400897
Abstract: A wearable electronic device includes a first device housing coupled to a second device housing by at least one strap. The wearable electronic device includes heat generating electronics situated within the first device housing. A heat pipe thermally coupled to the heat generating electronics transfers thermal energy from the heat generating electronics through the at least one neck strap to the second device housing.

  • Publication number: 20230268665
Abstract: An antenna assembly for an electronic device includes an array of millimeter-wave (mmWave) antenna elements situated within a carrier pivotably mounted upon a base coupled to a substrate. An actuator can pivot the carrier relative to the base to change a field of view of the array of mmWave antenna elements.

  • Publication number: 20080045912
Abstract: A safety overflow trap for a medical suction system to withdraw liquids from a patient. The trap protects a vacuum regulator and other downstream components from contacting the liquid withdrawn from the patient. The trap has an inlet and an outlet and a reservoir intermediate thereto. A valve is provided between the reservoir and the outlet comprising a fixed member and a movable member. The movable member floats on the liquid accumulated in the reservoir and, as that liquid rises, the movable member rises to seal against the fixed member to occlude the source of vacuum. The fixed and movable members become latched together when the movable member enters the closed position to prevent the leakage of the liquid if the trap is inadvertently tipped over. A system is also present to provide a visual alert to the attending personnel when the movable member has moved to its closed position.
