  • Patent number: 10579956
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for verifying user-provided data feeds. A data feed is received from a client and stored in a data store. An error detection process is initiated upon the data feed. A flag is set indicating that the data feed is being processed. A detected error from the error detection process is stored in the data store. The flag is updated indicating that processing of the data feed is finished upon completion of the error detection process. Upon a polling of the flag indicating that the processing of the data feed is finished, an update is generated to the user interface employed in the client to transfer the data feed. The update describes the detected error.

  • Publication number: 20200057671
Abstract: A computer implemented method manages access to resources of a philanthropy cloud platform. The method includes retrieving, at a computing device of the philanthropy cloud platform, context data and load policies for a requestor and an identified resource, combining, by the computing device, loaded policies with context data into a combined data structure, evaluating, by the computing device, a resource request and apply policies for requestor based on role of requestor using the combined data structure, generating, by the computing device, resource permissions for the requestor, and returning, by the computing device, resource permissions to the requestor.

  • Publication number: 20190347583
Abstract: A system creates a customized travel itinerary for a user based on travel and non-travel patterns of behavior. For example, the system identifies schedule data (e.g., including a time and a locating) for an event associated with the user, and determines at least one travel preference based on a pattern of travel behavior. The system also monitors non-travel behavior of the user for a time period to determine a pattern of non-travel behavior, and determines at least one predicted travel preference for the user based on the pattern of non-travel behavior. The system further determines a set of travel preferences that includes the at least one travel preference and the at least one predicted travel preference, and generates a travel itinerary based on the schedule data and the set of travel preferences.

  • Patent number: 9756181
Abstract: A system for initiating phone calls includes a database including records related to one or more second users, each of the second users being associated with an identifier and a phone number, a phone including a controller in communication with the database, and a memory in communication with the controller. The memory including program instructions executable by the controller that, when executed by the controller, cause the controller to provide a user interface that receives a phone call request from a first user, wherein the phone call request includes the identifier associated with a one of the second users and does not include the phone number associated with the one of the second users, and, in response to receiving the phone call request, initiating the phone call over a telephone network from the phone to the phone number associated with the one of the second users.

  • Publication number: 20130297084
Abstract: Control of supplying power to a storage device is performed based on carbon emission strength or a power rate. A battery center 13 that constitutes a storage device 11 performs radio communication with a gateway 4 and is controlled by the gateway 4. The gateway 4 collects a measured value of power consumed by electric appliances in a home and obtains the carbon emission strength in real time. A solar panel 9 is provided and a battery of the storage device 11 is charged with an output of the solar panel. The battery is also charged with direct current power obtained from power from outside. The power is stored in the storage device 11 based on the carbon emission strength by charging control.
