  • Patent number: 11879217
Abstract: A retention system for retaining a milling drum to a driveshaft of a milling assembly. The driveshaft is powered to drive the milling drum about an axis. The retention system includes a retention member coupled to the driveshaft between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the retention member restricts a disengagement between an engagement surface of the driveshaft and a mating surface of the milling drum, inhibiting a release of the milling drum from the driveshaft along the axis. In the second position, the retention member provides clearance for the disengagement of the engagement surface and the mating surface, facilitating the release of the milling drum from the driveshaft along the axis.

  • Patent number: 11834798
Abstract: A system for transferring torque from a driveshaft to a milling drum mountable on the driveshaft. The system includes a first coupler removably coupled to the driveshaft to co-rotate with the driveshaft. The first coupler defines an engagement surface. Also, the system includes a second coupler removably coupled to the milling drum. The second coupler defines a mating surface engageable with the engagement surface of the first coupler to engage the second coupler to the first coupler and transfer torque from the driveshaft to the milling drum.

  • Patent number: 10385536
Abstract: A cold planer is provided. The cold planer includes an engine and an enclosure compartment for a milling rotor. The enclosure compartment includes a frame defining an opening of the enclosure compartment. The enclosure compartment includes a moldboard connected to the frame. The moldboard is configured to move vertically between a first position and a second position with respect to the frame. An interfacing arrangement includes a first pair of components carried by the frame and a second pair of components carried by the moldboard. The components of one of the first pair of components and the second pair of components have slanted edges. The first and second pairs of components are configured to allow a lateral movement of the moldboard when the moldboard is in the first position and to engage one another to prevent the lateral movement of the moldboard when the moldboard is in the second position.

  • Publication number: 20150122962
Abstract: A support assembly for supporting a mixing chamber of a reclaiming machine having a frame includes a rod member pivotally mounted on the frame at end portions, a stop member, and a L-linkage attached to the rod member. The L-linkage is further attached to the mixing chamber. The stop member is configured to rotate with the movement of the mixing chamber. Further, a float linkage is provided. The float linkage is capable of being abutted with the stop members and pivotally attached to the rod member. The float linkage is configured to stop the rotation of stop member. Further, a hydraulic cylinder is provided. The hydraulic cylinder connected with the float linkage and the frame. The hydraulic cylinder is configured to adjust the float linkage to one of a plurality of positions.

  • Patent number: 6346618
Abstract: A process for the asymmetric transformation of a racemic compound of formula (I) wherein R1 is H or a alkyl group having up to 20 carbon atoms, R2 is H, or an alkyl, aryl, alkaryl or aralkyl group having up to 20 carbon atoms, and X is H, a halogen atom, tert-butyl, or any other removable substituent, comprises reaction of racemic compound (I) with an enantiomerically-enriched acid HY*, wherein Y* is a chiral group, to form a diastereomeric salt of compound (I) having Y* as a counterion. The salt obtained can then be reduced to give enantiomerically-enriched galanthamine, or a derivative thereof.
