Abstract: Systems and methods for formatting text on a touch screen display device are provided. A method can include providing for display, by one or more processors, a user interface on a touch screen display device. The user interface can include a field for receiving one or more touchpoint interactions by a user. The method can further include receiving, by the one or more processors, data indicative of a first touchpoint on the touch screen display device and data indicative of a second touchpoint on the touch screen display device. The method can further include determining, by the one or more processors, a formatted textual display based at least in part on the data indicative of the first touchpoint and the data indicative of the second touchpoint. The method can further include displaying, by the one or more processors, the formatted textual display on the touch screen display device.
