The grapple is attached to a winch or other rope or line that can be used to remove the vehicle from the water. For instance, the grapple may be configured to be secured to a wheel or tire of a vehicle. The grapple may have a body and at least one finger that is rotatable relative to the body. For instance, the at least one finger may be first and second fingers rotatable relative to the body. The grapple may be equipped with a biasing member, such as a cord, spring, or other elastic member that automatically biases the at least one finger to a give position.
