  • Publication number: 20210291051
Abstract: A method of estimating a time to complete a task for a user of a computer comprises: identifying a target task for which a time is to be estimated for completing the task, determining as a start point the completion of the last task completed by the user on the computer, obtaining, from data relating to a corpus of users, data for at least a subset of those users who completed the last task completed by the user before also completing the target task wherein the obtained data comprises timing data, calculating a representative time from the start point to the completion of the target task, based upon the obtained data, and implementing a predetermined action responsive to the calculated representative time.

  • Patent number: 11115811
Abstract: Two devices (e.g., two wireless Bluetooth earbuds) may exchange device address information (e.g., Bluetooth address information) and may identify a primary address. When either of the devices connect to a source device (e.g., a phone), the primary address may be used by the connecting device such that the pair of devices appear as a single device (e.g., a Bluetooth-pairable device) to the source device, regardless of the device connecting to the source device as the primary device. The primary device may then send identity information (e.g., that has been exchanged with the secondary device) to the source device, such that the source device may connect to either of the two devices. Further, once a primary device connects to the source device, the primary device may transmit, to the secondary device, connection information such that the secondary device may connect to the source device and operate in the primary role.

  • Publication number: 20210233019
Abstract: A method for observing and directing the movement of a physical object from a location to a destination, the method comprising. The method includes receiving specifications governing the physical dimensions, a material composition, a movement parameter, and an environmental control condition requirement for a physical object and storing those specifications in a shared, distributed ledger accessible by the relevant actors in a supply chain. By requiring significant events to be recorded in the distributed ledger, such a confirmations of product conformance to the specifications, documentation regarding the transport and receipt of the object, and relevant environmental conditions, the movement of the object through the supply chain can be ascertained and controlled with a high degree of visibility and accountability.

  • Publication number: 20210124464
Abstract: A channel graphical user interface (GUI) of a content sharing platform is provided for presentation to a channel owner. A request is received, via the channel GUI, to enable an online community option that (i) facilitates an online conversation between the channel owner and a subset of viewers of the channel of the channel owner on the content sharing platform, and (ii) allows the channel owner to control viewer responses that are permitted during the online conversation. In response to the request of the channel owner to enable the online community option, the online community option is associated with the channel in a data store, and the channel GUI is modified, the modified channel GUI presenting an online community GUI element representing the online community option.
