  • Publication number: 20090138555
Abstract: A method and system for maintaining connectivity in a network. The network includes a plurality of computational devices. A first computational device includes a main processor and a co-processor. The first computational device receives the at least one data frame from a second computational device and forwards the at least one data frame to a third computational device by using the co-processor without intervention from the main processor by using network protocols corresponding to layer-2 and layer-1 of Open System Interconnection (OSI) reference model.

  • Publication number: 20070256716
Abstract: A weather forecasting umbrella includes a display device in the umbrella's handle that provides a visual indication of the day's weather, such as the probability of precipitation. The display device may take the form of one or more lamps that emit a color, or flash at a varying rate, to indicate forecast weather conditions. The weather forecast that is displayed is preferably obtained using a wireless receiver built into the umbrella that receives data via a wireless paging or cell broadcast network. A display screen may be used to display forecasted information in more detail, including the likelihood of precipitation and/or the forecast high and low temperature for the day.

  • Publication number: 20070013873
Abstract: A very low cost computer comprising a motherboard socketed to receive selected components including a processor, memory modules, and interface controllers for connecting to peripheral devices, in combination with a micro-projection display system. The display system employs a low resolution imaging device such as a transmissive or reflective spatial light modulator in combination with an image deflection system for dithering a sequence of low resolution images from the imaging device as a composite high resolution image directed to either a front or rear projection screen. The system may be used in laptop computers and other portable electronic devices such as PDAs and cellular telephones, and in eyeglass-mounted displays.

  • Publication number: 20030017874
Abstract: “Toothbrush with electronic-game apparatus”, as its alias “gamebrush”, has an electronic-gamer combined and turns boring daily tooth-cleaning into charming electronic-games. The toothbrush can detect what time user brush his teeth and for how long, it requests user do tooth-cleaning upon a regular daily timetable, morning and evening, twice a day. A good oral-care habit is the key factor for user to win in the electronic-game. The game model can be vast of kinds. The toothbrush use charming games to “bind” user with a regular daily timetable of tooth-cleaning. It encourages those people without good oral-care habit, especially kids and youngster, brush their teeth regularly. At the meantime, tooth-cleaning history records can be stored in the electronic-game IC chip, so user can check this history record.
