  • Patent number: 11866289
Abstract: A handheld hose guide which accommodates hoses of varying diameters and protects a user from debris on the hose when reeling the hose onto a hose reel, including a housing having a pair of housing parts for enclosing the hose, wherein the pair of housing parts when in a closed position form an interior, cylindrically-shaped longitudinal channel, which longitudinal channel generally conforms to a shape of the hose, a hinge attached to each of the pair of housing parts for providing angular movement of each housing relative to the other housing, a locking device attached to the pair of housing parts for securing the hose within the housing during operation of the hose guide, and rollers which are attached to springs that are biased inwardly, in order to accommodate hoses of various diameters and to provide constant compression on the hose during operation of the hose guide.

  • Publication number: 20210370429
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed relating to welding sequence guidance using three-dimensional (3D) models. In some examples, a welding sequence program may use 3D models, rather than two-dimensional (2D) images, to guide operators through welding sequences. Since only one 3D model must be saved for each sequence, rather than potentially hundreds of 2D images, substantial memory space may be saved. Additionally, the same 3D model may be used for several welding sequences. Further, the 3D model may be animated to help the operator understand changes in perspective between steps of the welding sequence.

  • Publication number: 20210329853
Abstract: A process of making a mycological biopolymer of a mycomaterial filter comprising the steps of filling a scaffold with a nutritive substrate and a fungus, placing an encasement on the scaffold to seal the scaffold, said encasement having only one outlet therein open to fresh air and defining a vacant space, incubation of the sealed scaffold at high temperatures and carbon dioxide concentrations to induce biopolymer growth into the vacant space wherein the mycological biopolymer environmental conditions comprise an environmental temperature from 55° F. to 95° F. and carbon dioxide constitutes from 2% to 8% of the environment within the vacant space, and thereafter drying the produced mycological biopolymer.

  • Publication number: 20210304073
Abstract: A framework for easy development of a machine learning solution is provided. The framework includes connecting data sources at all scale levels from a user; assessing data schema, data risk, and data quality status; performing scalable feature engineering and transformation; and automating machine learning model optimization. The framework also includes functionalities for generating production code and automatic model documentation.

  • Patent number: 10922539
Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described for using an automation tool to facilitate the preparation of a summary document, such as an expense report. In a first data path, a receipt-processing component generates receipt items based on images of physical receipts that a user captures using a camera. In a second data path, one or more transaction-processing systems forward transaction items to the automation tool upon their capture; the transaction items correspond to electronic records of transactions made by the user. The technique then generates a set of receipt-transaction (R-T) pairings by matching pairs of receipt items and transaction items that describe the same respective transactions. The technique then uses context information to supplement the R-T pairings, and generates a summary document that summarizes transactions made by the user based on the supplemented R-T pairings. In one case, the context information corresponds to calendar information specified in a user's electronic calendar.

  • Patent number: 4135503
Abstract: An orthopedic device designed and configured to provide ambulatory traction to specific levels of the spine of a human wherein an inflatable bladder is affixed between a rigid base plate and an apertured template plate so as to extend outwardly therefrom to engage the back portion of a patient and provide predetermined specifically directed pressure to predetermined portions of the spine. The traction apparatus which includes the bladder, template plate and base plate are removably mounted to a belt having both a latex portion causing expandable support when placed in surrounding relation to the patient as well as brace strapping which is relatively unyieldable so as to maintain the expandable, inflatable bladder at a given position relative to a preselected portion of the spine.
