  • Publication number: 20230384857
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) preference mapping is provided. The embodiment may include capturing a plurality of user preferences from a plurality of user feedback while a user interacts with elements of an AR/VR space. The embodiment may also include mapping one or more user preferences from the plurality of captured user preferences to one or more clusters. The embodiment may further include generating a user preference model of the elements based on the one or more mapped user preferences. The embodiment may also include displaying the user preference model in the AR/VR space.

  • Publication number: 20230274179
Abstract: A system, program product, and method for processing challenges to potential artificial intelligence (AI) biases. The method includes injecting one or more first values associated with one or more respective variables into an AI platform, and generating, through the AI platform, one or more first outcomes. The method also includes collecting feedback with respect to the one or more outcomes, and parsing the feedback through a natural language understanding (NLU) application. The method further includes determining, subject to the parsing, one or more bias factors embedded within the AI platform.

  • Patent number: 11689482
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for dynamically providing a typing feedback indicator. Text entered in a body of a message that is to be sent to a recipient is detected. Prior to the user (author) sending the message to the recipient, the text of the message being composed by the user is analyzed to determine a sentiment and an emotion as well as to determine a topic of the content of the text. Based on such analyses, as well as possibly based on other criteria, a typing feedback indicator is generated to reflect an indication of the content of the message to be sent to the recipient. The typing feedback indicator may then be displayed on a computing device of the recipient while the user (author) is composing the message thereby providing the recipient context awareness of the message prior to receipt of such a message.

  • Publication number: 20230111052
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for generating rules to be utilized by a rule-based system. A parser analyzes a received string of words according to grammatical rules to generate a parse tree. The parse tree may then be reviewed by a user to determine if such a parse tree represents the appropriate syntactic structure of the string of words. If the user believes that the parse tree does not represent the appropriate syntactic structure of the string, then the user, who does not need to possess the expertise of natural language processing, may select the nodes and/or edges of the parse tree in a particular order that corresponds to the correct syntactic structure of the string of words. A grammatical rule is then created for parsing the string of words based on the user selection of nodes and/or edges of the parse tree in a particular order.

  • Publication number: 20230090168
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for performing user acceptance testing. A virtual environment for virtual sponsor users to interact with a feature or a function of a software product is created. Such virtual sponsor users are virtual representations of actual or real sponsor users. Each of these virtual sponsor users are then assigned a persona type profile of a target audience. Such persona type profiles include the character traits of a user, such as a user or member of the target audience. Interactions of the virtual sponsor users with the feature or the function of the software product are then simulated and tracked. The rate of acceptance of the feature or the function of the software product is then determined based on such tracked interactions. In this manner, user acceptance testing is performed in a swiftly manner that is cost effective.

  • Publication number: 20220050693
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for providing support to a user within an augmented reality environment based on an emotional state of the user is provided. The present invention may include based on data gathered from an augmented reality device, determining a step of a series of steps the user is currently performing, identifying the current emotional state of the user based at least in part on data gathered from the augmented reality device, responsive to determining that the current emotional state of the user is frustrated, performing one or more actions to reduce the frustration of the user; and responsive to determining that the current emotional state of the user is frustrated or confused, performing one or more support actions to assist the user in completing the step based on the current emotional state of the user.
