  • Publication number: 20230360280
Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for decentralized procedural digital asset creation, comprising receiving a first request to create a digital asset from an application executing an augmented reality effect on a computing device, wherein the first request includes an identifier associated with a user of the application. The implementations further include generating the digital asset and metadata of the digital asset, wherein the metadata includes information about characteristics of the digital asset and ownership of the digital asset by the user. Additionally, the implementations further include storing the metadata on a blockchain. Additionally, the implementations further include receiving a second request to access the digital asset from the application.

  • Publication number: 20230283864
Abstract: The present disclosure describes techniques for facilitating interaction with content using interactive effects. The techniques comprise receiving a video from a first computing device associated with a first user among a plurality of users. The video is generated using an interactive effect. The interactive effect comprises overlaying at least one component on at least one subset of frames of the video. The interactive effect enables the video to be interacted with other users among the plurality of users. The video is presented on a second computing device associated with a second user among the plurality of users. The video comprises information indicative of instructions on how to interact with the video. Display of an animation associated with the at least one component may be automatically caused on the second computing device in response to receiving an indication of interacting with the video by the second user.

  • Patent number: 11446670
Abstract: A digital slide scanning apparatus slide stage is configured to hold 1×3 and 2×3 glass slides. The slide stage is configured to alter its position by lateral shift or rotation to present the 1×3 or 2×3 sized recess to a slide rack for loading of the slide onto the stage. Also, a removable insert may configure the stage to hold a 1×3 glass slide when present and to hold a 2×3 glass slide when removed. Alternatively, a gripper stage is described herein that includes a fixed arm and a movable arm, each with one or more contact points configured to engage a side surface of the glass slide. Once the glass slide is secured between the contact points of the movable arm and the contact points of the fixed arm, the slide is further processed for scanning.
