  • Patent number: 11931931
Abstract: An article comprises a laminate with a layer comprising a first latex composition containing a cross-linker component selected from sulfur, organic peroxide, vulcanizing activators, and vulcanizing accelerator; and a second layer comprising a second latex composition free of the cross-linker component. The laminate is formed by dipping a mold into the first latex composition then into the second latex composition forming a laminated film, then curing the laminated film by heating to a temperature between 90° C. to 140° C. Lastly, the laminated film is removed from the mold via inversion such that the second layer is inwards and the first layer is outwards.

Date of Patent: March 19, 2024
    Assignee: CARIFLEX PTE. LTD.

  • Patent number: 9559407
Abstract: The invention provides a lighting device (104) and a luminaire (200). The lighting device comprises a light emitter (110) thermally connected to a heat sink (120). The lighting device further comprises a communication circuit (130) coupled to the heat sink for transmitting and/or receiving a communication signal. A first conductive part (122) of the heat sink comprises at least a first pole (142) of a dipole antenna (140) for transmitting and/or receiving the communication signal via the heat sink. This first pole of the dipole antenna may be induced via a primary radiator (160) to activate the gap (170).

  • Patent number: 9445483
Abstract: The invention provides a lighting device (100) and a luminaire (200). The lighting device comprises a light emitter (110) thermally connected to a heat sink (120). The lighting device further comprises a communication circuit (130) which is coupled to the heat sink for transmitting and/or receiving a communication signal. The heat sink is electrically conductive and comprising an opening (151) having dimensions for constituting an aperture antenna (150) for a particular frequency for directionally transmitting and/or receiving the communication signal of the particular frequency via the heat sink. In the embodiment shown, the lighting device comprises an aperture antenna (150) and a further aperture antenna (160).

  • Publication number: 20160223153
Abstract: A luminary (1) configured for attachment to a ceiling of a space to be illuminated comprises a casing, a fixture for securing a lighting component to the casing, a wireless transmitter module comprising an antenna (10) located in the casing, and a securing component arranged to secure the luminary with respect to a ceiling plate (20). The securing component may be configured to space the casing from the ceiling plate (20) to provide an air-gap (22) between the casing the ceiling plate (20), whereby the casing constitutes a resonant cavity for RF energy transmitted from the antenna (10), the air-gap being dimensioned to radiate RF energy from the antenna (10) to the environment externally of the casing.
