  • Publication number: 20230086975
Abstract: The equipment for the filtration of a suspension uses a rotary filter with a precoat. The equipment includes a filtration unit for the implementation of the rotary filter and a coating unit for coating the rotary filter with the precoat. The coating unit is independent of the filtration unit.

  • Publication number: 20190343199
Abstract: An improved work and sports glove system comprising a shaped and padded palmar component with four finger sleeves and a thumb sleeve attached to the palmar component. Attachment points are mounted to the dorsal sections of the four finger sleeves and thumb sleeve where molded perspiration absorbing materials may be removably attached to the attachment points. The molded perspiration absorbing material may be shaped so as to create a squeegee-like blade at one end, and the material may be customized in the form of differing colors and having objects such as letters to provide users of the system the opportunity to design and personalize a set of gloves. The improved work and glove system may include a shaped dorsal hand component which covers the back of the hand so as to create fingerless workout gloves or standard work gloves to provide a more efficient and disposable perspiration absorbing system.

  • Patent number: 9602854
Abstract: A method for generating a time scheduling of a contents stream distributed to plural terminals. The contents stream is segmented in consecutive segments, each segment defining a corresponding program. The method includes: receiving auxiliary metadata including a planned time scheduling of the content stream which has been set in advance and monitoring at least a portion of a segment of the contents stream to extract corresponding content features therefrom, generating a corresponding fingerprint based on the extracted content features and assessing at least one among an actual start time and an actual end time of such segment based on a comparison between the fingerprint and a reference fingerprint associated with such segment, and updating the planned time scheduling based on the assessed at least one among the actual start time and actual end time to generate a time scheduling synchronized with the contents stream.

  • Publication number: 20140136186
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for generating an alternative audible, visual and/or textual data based upon an original audible, visual and/or textual data comprising the step of inputting to a processor original audible, visual and/or textual data having an original plot, extracting a plurality of basic segments from the original audible, visual and/or textual data, defining a vocabulary of intermediate-level semantic concepts based on the plurality of basic segments and/or the original plot, inputting to the processor at least an alternative plot based upon the original plot, modifying the alternative plot in terms of the vocabulary of intermediate-level semantic concepts for generating a modified alternative plot, and modifying the plurality of basic segments of the original audible, visual and/or textual data in terms of said vocabulary of intermediate-level semantic concepts for generating a modified plurality of basic segments.

  • Patent number: 8233526
Abstract: A method of scalable video coding in which the video signal is processed and coded at various layers of spatial resolution where between each pair of spatial layers a prediction mechanism is enabled which allows a comparison at homologous layers of spatial resolution with the aim to obtain a good efficiency.

  • Patent number: 7176692
Abstract: A measuring probe for potentiometric measurements has a housing (2) formed of an electrically insulating material that encloses at least one hollow space (8, 10) containing a half-cell element defining a first electrode. At least one additional electrode (12) is provided on a portion (4) of the housing adapted for immersion in a measuring solution (6) and is connected to a contact terminal (K3) that is arranged outside of the immersible portion (4). Each additional electrode (12) is defined by an electrically conductive coating (14) applied to the outside of the housing (2).
