  • Publication number: 20150090850
Abstract: Segment of an articulated arm made of composite material, with an elongated shape defining a longitudinal axis, and having a box-like cross section. The segment includes a first end portion, configured for the pivoting of a further segment, a second intermediate portion configured for the pivoting of an actuation member, and a third end portion. The first, second and third portions are made in a single body. The second intermediate portion includes a protruding zone defined by a first side and by a second side converging with respect to each other to define a top. Pivoting elements are provided in the protruding zone for the pivoting of the actuation member between the protruding zone and the first end portion. The first and the second side defining the protruding zone are filleted to substantially rectilinear adjacent tracts of the first and third end portions.

  • Patent number: 8925310
Abstract: The device to actively control the vibrations of an articulated arm consisting of a plurality of segments each comprising at least its own actuator associated with a hydraulic drive circuit including a block valve. At least one of said actuators is associated with an hydraulic control circuit of the vibrations, comprising at least a sensor able to detect the vibrations and/or the position of one or more segments, a processing unit to process the signals of the sensor/sensors and a pump commanded by the electronic command board and cooperating with said block valve. The hydraulic control circuit is associated with the hydraulic drive circuit.

  • Publication number: 20130333829
Abstract: Method to make an arm in a composite material for articulated or telescopic modular structures for the distribution of concrete, which comprises a first step in which one or more layers of fiber (16, 25) are distributed on the external surface (17) of a male-type mold (11) having a cross section defined by at least a substantially flat wall. The section of the male mold (11) reduces, in at least one of its sizes, passing from one of its ends to the other. The fibers (16) may or may not be pre-impregnated with a resinous matrix. The method also comprises a second step in which the male mold (11) is ejected from the product thus obtained, a possible heat treatment being provided, for example in autoclave, before the extraction of the product.

  • Patent number: 8505184
Abstract: A method to make an arm for the distribution of concrete, or other material similar to concrete, used on heavy work vehicles, wherein the arm comprises a plurality of segments selectively folding and extendible one with respect to the other. Each segment comprises a main girder and auxiliary elements for connection to adjacent segments or for attachment of movement and/or supporting devices for the pipe that carries the concrete. The method comprises a first step in which each main girder is formed, with a predefined length, by depositing a plurality of layers of pre-impregnated composite material in a female type mold. The method comprises a second step in which the composite material, deposited in layers in the mold in a variable number of layers, is subjected to polymerization. The method comprises a third step in which each main girder is removed from the mold and a fourth step in which the auxiliary elements are associated with each girder so as to form a relative segment.

  • Publication number: 20130129534
Abstract: A pumping unit for a machine to distribute concrete includes a pair of cylinders provided with a relative pumping piston movable linearly for a determinate travel to feed the concrete to a determinate circuit to distribute the concrete; and a hydraulic command circuit operatively connected to both the cylinders, to determine an alternate pumping movement of the relative pumping pistons. The pumping unit includes at least a sensor member operatively associated to at least one of the cylinders in order to detect point-by-point one or more data relating to the operating condition of the pumping piston during its movement for the whole travel. The data includes at least one of position, speed, stress and direction of movement of the relative piston.

  • Patent number: 8082083
Abstract: An active control method to control the vibrations of an articulated arm consisting of a plurality of segments articulated with respect to each other, by means of an electronic controller, comprising the following steps: a) construction of a modal model of the articulated arm starting from experimental data or from structural models; b) assignation of gains of electronic controller; c) multiplication of gains by the difference between the reference modal coordinates and those calculated through the modal model starting from directly measured quantities, in order to determine the control forces to be applied to the arm, or to at least part of the relative segments; d) evaluation of the modal coordinates by means of a states estimator; e) comparison between measurements estimated using the modal coordinates and real measurements and correction of the estimate, so that the estimate converges on real values.
