Abstract: A detergent composition dispensing device removable insertable into a washing machine comprises:— (a) a primary chamber to accommodate a detergent composition, (b) a secondary chamber, for releasing same into the wash liquor of the washing machine, (c) a mechanism for transferring detergent from the primary to the secondary chamber, the mechanism comprising: (i) a movable piston disposed within the secondary chamber (ii) a valve arranged between the primary chamber and the secondary chamber, which, when operated, permits flow of the detergent composition there-between.

Abstract: A dosing and dispensing device for liquid detergent comprises a hollow body having a portion comprising a flexible material, an opening in said flexible portion, and means to spread at least a portion of the contained liquid detergent onto a surface of fabric. The opening is (progressively) opened when pressure is applied to said device on a surface to which the liquid detergent is applied. The opening is substantially closed when said pressure stops.

The container is used for a container for storage, capable of discharging its contents of the required quantity at a required time. The sealing film may be replaceable sealed against the perforated portion.

Abstract: A method of forming an essentially tubular blowable plastics parison comprises injection moulding an essentially tubular parison around a mould surface. Means for injecting flowable plastics material to said injection mould at an injection station to form a parison within said mould surface are used. These comprise a plurality of individual injectors, with at least a secondary injector being capable of injecting a different composition from the remaining primary injectors.
