Abstract: A therapeutic apparatus for assisting the movement of the contents of the tubular systems of the human body includes a support frame, a cradle rotatably mounted on the support frame, a seat mounted on the cradle to be movably adjustable relative to the cradle, a counterbalance adjustably secured to the cradle for adjusting the centre of gravity of the apparatus before use, and securing structure mounted on the seat to secure a user in position on the seat at or near the user's groin.

Abstract: An apparatus for effecting postural treatment of humans. The apparatus includes a pivoting platform structure pivotally mounted on a stand. The platform structure is such that a person can be supported in the region of his hip in a bent over, face down attitude and an adjusting mechanism is provided whereby the position of the platform relative to the pivotal axis may be varied. By such adjustment of the pivotal axis, the center of gravity of a person supported on the platform can be adjusted and in particular can be adjusted in such a way that a person, supported on the platform, can control pivoting of the platform by varying the position of his arms.

Abstract: The invention provides for a therapeutic apparatus which includes a platform on which a person can be supported in a reclining position, and a support on which the platform is pivotally supported. The platform can pivot about a pivot axis between one extreme position in which a person on the platform is in a substantially upright standing position and another extreme position in which the person on the platform is in a substantially upright inverted position. The apparatus includes adjustment means by means of which the platform can be adjusted in at least two directions with respect to the platform to thereby adjust the position of the center of gravity of the platform and its load with respect to the fulcrum. The adjustment means for adjusting the platform in at least one direction effects infinite angular adjustment of the platform.
