Patent number: 11994830Abstract: A watch whose watch case includes a case middle and a rotating bezel provided with a bezel locking system. The system includes a rotating crown secured to an arbor, the arbor being arranged inside a radial hole in the case middle. By rotating the crown, the user can screw or unscrew the arbor with respect to the hole. The arbor includes a frustoconical section which interacts with a pin mounted perpendicularly to the arbor and returned towards the arbor by a spring. Screwing the arbor into the hole will cause the frustoconical section to push the pin into a receiving space provided on the lower surface of the bezel, which locks the bezel. Unscrewing the arbor automatically releases the pin from the receiving space by the return force exerted by the spring. The crown can include a helium valve mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2019Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: TISSOT SAInventors: Nicolas Ehrsam, Laurie Saunders

Patent number: 9009926Abstract: The present invention concerns a portable object including a case (2) and a bracelet or strap (14). The case includes a middle part (4) from which two pairs of horns (12) extend, the horns of each pair being connected by a guide element (50) defining a space in conjunction with the middle part. The portable object includes securing means (18) including a locking part (20, 20?) inserted in each end (30) of the bracelet or strap and at least one groove (22) located on the middle part (4). The securing means (18) is arranged to enable each end of the bracelet or strap to be inserted in the space defined by the middle part and the horns of each pair connected by the guide element (50), such that the locking part (20) cooperates elastically with said groove to secure said bracelet or strap to the case in a simple manner.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2010Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: Tissot S.A.Inventors: Nicolas Ehrsam, Laurie Saunders

Patent number: 7547136Abstract: The oscillating weight includes a primary oscillating weight (10) secured to a drive arbor (6) and at least one secondary oscillating weight (20), which is mobile relative to the primary weight to cause the initial impulse. The secondary weight (20) is formed by a part assembled to the primary weight (10) from the exterior, while being able to have a travel between two stop members (12a, 12b) of a guide means (14, 18) located on the periphery of the primary weight (10).Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2007Date of Patent: June 16, 2009Assignee: The Swatch Group Management Services AGInventors: Paulo Bravo, Nicolas Ehrsam

Patent number: 7345954Abstract: The wristband with a clasp (1) includes electrical connection means (2) for connection to at least one electric or electronic component (23). These electrical connection means include an electric connector (2) arranged in one part of the clasp connected to one end of a wristband strand. The connector is of the universal serial bus type so as to be able to be connected, when the clasp is in the open position, to a connector of complementary shape of an electric apparatus, such as a computer station for carrying out energy and/or data transmission with the electric or electronic component. The connector is protected by a fastening piece (6) and bellows (5) when the clasp is in the closed position.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2004Date of Patent: March 18, 2008Assignee: The Swatch Group Management Services AGInventors: Nicolas Ehrsam, Jacques Müller, Clément Meyrat
