  • Publication number: 20220261635
Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for training a policy neural network by repeatedly updating the policy neural network at each of a plurality of training iterations. One of the methods includes generating training data for the training iteration by controlling the agent in accordance with an improved policy that selects actions in response to input state representations. A best response computation is performed using (i) a candidate policy generated from respective policy neural networks as of one or more preceding iterations and (ii) a candidate value neural network. The candidate value neural network is configured to generate a value output that is an estimate of a value of the environment being in the state characterized by a state representation to complete a particular task. The policy neural network is updated by training the policy neural network on the training data.

  • Patent number: 11361476
Abstract: An electronic device may include a display panel with pixels that present an image based on image data and an application processor that generates the image data. The electronic device may include a display pipeline coupled to the electronic display and the application processor. The display pipeline may receive first image data from the application processor corresponding to a first color space used by the application processor. The display pipeline may apply a color mapping relationship to the first image data to generate second image data. The color mapping relationship may define a transform to apply to the first image data to generate the second image data corresponding to a second color space used by the electronic display. The display pipeline may transmit the second image data to a display driver that operates the electronic display to emit light according to the second image data.

  • Publication number: 20220130350
Abstract: An electronic device that includes a display and an eye tracker configured to collect eye tracking data regarding a gaze of one or more of a user's eyes across the display is disclosed herein. The electronic device includes processing circuitry that is operatively coupled to the display and configured to foveate one or more areas of the display according to the eye tracking data. If the eye tracking data input is lost, the processing circuitry is configured to recover from the loss of eye tracking data by changing one or more aspects of the foveated areas (e.g., size, resolution, etc.) until a threshold is satisfied. As time elapses since loss of eye tracking, the foveated areas move toward a center or a salient region of the display.

  • Patent number: 11223612
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention teach use of a single-platform with its own authentication-process (i.e., its own “single-platform-authentication-process” or its own selection of secure single-platform-authentication-processes), but that may allow third party service provider companies (Organizations) that want to offer/provide service(s) on the single-platform, to still utilize their own authentication-processes, i.e., to still utilize the given Organization's own “organization-specific-authentication-process,” at least once in the initial user onboarding process, and thereafter to rely upon the common authentication-processes of the single-platform; which then permits a multitude of services, including the possibility of diverse and different services to be deployed from the single-platform.
