Patent number: 11010534Abstract: Aspects create a multimedia presentation wherein processors are configured to calculate a time it would take to narrate a plurality of words in a document at a specified speech speed in response to determining that the time it would take to narrate the plurality of words in the document at the specified speech speed exceeds a specified maximum time, generate a long summary of the document as a subset of the plurality of words, generate audio content for a first portion of the plurality of words of the long summary by applying a text-to-speech processing mechanism to the portion of the long summary at the desired speech speed, and create a multimedia slide of a multimedia presentation by adding the generated audio content to a presentation of text from a remainder portion of the plurality of words of the long summary.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2019Date of Patent: May 18, 2021Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Nicolas Bainer, Dario Alejando Falasca, Federico Tomas Gimenez Molinelli, Nicolas O. Patent number: 10902058Abstract: A voice input may be received, and from the voice input, a topic may be identified. A sentiment score for the topic may be generated using sentiment analysis on the voice input, and the sentiment score may reflect an individual's reaction to the topic. The sentiment score may be compared to a sentiment threshold. In response, one or more images may be selected, based on the topic, from an image database. The one or more images may be validated, and then displayed.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2020Date of Patent: January 26, 2021Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Nicolas Tcherechansky, Nicolas M. Patent number: 10246003Abstract: Adjusting the intensity of the rear fog lights of a vehicle to optimize intensity based on the precipitation rate and the speed of the vehicle in order to increase the visibility of drivers of the following vehicles. The speed of the vehicle is detected with a speed sensor, a rain value is determined using a rain sensor, and the optimal light intensity is calculated taking into account vehicle specific turbulence characteristics. The rear fog lights are then modulated according to the optimal light intensity to maximize the visibility of the fog lights to any following vehicles.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2017Date of Patent: April 2, 2019Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Federico Tomas Gimenez Molinelli, Nicolas Orlando Nappe, Gaston Alejo Rius, Nicolas Tcherechansky, Facundo Javier Tomaselli, Nicolas Mario Jose Torcasio

Publication number: 20170039877Abstract: Aspects automatically determine aptitude or attention level of a user as a function of time of day, user attributes and external stimuli. Impact values are determined relative to user aptitude from stimulus associated with event activity as a function of user attributes that include levels of attention, rest and experienced stress. The impact values have a negative sign if beneficial to the user aptitude, or a positive sign if detrimental. Baseline time adjustment factors are selected to match user demographic data and event activity time or duration. A time shift value is determined as a sum of the impact values. An effective time of day value is determined by adding the time shift value to the baseline time adjustment factors of matching time values. An effective time of day is generated by adding the determined effective time of day value to a current time of day.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2015Publication date: February 9, 2017Inventors: FEDERICO TOMAS GIMENEZ MOLINELLI, NICOLAS ORLANDO NAPPE, GASTON ALEJO RIUS, NICOLAS TCHERECHANSKY, FACUNDO JAVIER TOMASELLI, NICOLAS MARIO JOSE TORCASIO
