  • Publication number: 20110073190
Abstract: A hot water heater comprises a hot water tank, a supply pipe to be connected to the public water mains and a discharge pipe to be connected to a tap. The hot water tank has a circumferential wall which encloses the interior of the tank and which is provided with a heating element disposed inside the hot water tank and with a temperature control device. The circumferential wall of the tank comprises a part which is bellows-shaped so as to be deformable under pressure, thus enabling the tank to expand and contract. The bellows-shaped part of the tank wall is surrounded by a gas chamber containing a gas under pressure, which is capable of balancing the expansion of the tank. The invention further relates to a method for supplying hot water.

  • Publication number: 20100006658
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for dispensing water, comprising a water tank for keeping water at a tank temperature, which water tank comprises a tank inlet and a tank outlet, in which the tank inlet is connected to a source of water, and the tank outlet is connected to a tapping point for warm or hot water. The invention is characterized by the fact that the device comprises a mixing device with a first water supply, a second water supply and a water discharge connected to a dispensing point, in which the first water supply is connected to a hot water pipe originating from a central hot water source arranged at a distance and the second water supply is connected to the tank outlet, in which the mixing device comprises a control device which is designed to mix water from the first and second water supply in such a manner that the water to be dispensed substantially has a desired temperature, and in which the tank temperature is higher than the desired temperature of the water to be dispensed.

  • Patent number: 6612268
Abstract: A hot-water appliance capable of resisting at least the pressure of the public water supply system, comprising at least one hot-water vessel with a supply conduit connectable to the public water supply system and a discharge conduit connectable to a draw-off tap, wherein the hot-water vessel further comprises a substantially cylindrical jacket wall and two end walls, characterized in that a vacuum insulated jacket (2) surrounds at least the cylindrical wall part (1a, 9) of the hot water vessel, with said vacuum insulated jacket consisting of wall(s) composed of a solid non-plastic material composition and a thickness of less than ca. 2 cm, the wall(s) enclosing a hollow vacuum space whereupon at a temperature difference between the hot water vessel and the ambient atmosphere of at least 90° C. the vacuum insulated jacket will retain an internal absolute pressure in the vacuum space of less than 10−2 millibar, corresponding to a vacuum of less than 0.

  • Patent number: 5871029
Abstract: A water tap for the purpose of dispensing hot water intended for arrangement on a horizontal face (3), comprising a shut-off cock (8) which is connectable, by an inlet (8a) thereof, to a hot-water source and connected, by an outlet thereof and via a water supply (12), to a pivotable discharge (2), of which discharge in inlet side comprises a straight length of tubing (5), the straight length of tubing (5) being clampingly arranged in a guide (1a, 1b, 16) of a tube guide housing (1) so that the discharge (2) is adjustable in the direction of the longitudinal center line of the straight length of tubing (5) and retains this position in any adjusting position under the influence of the clamping guide (1a, 1b, 16).
