  • Patent number: 10229648
Abstract: A programmable level shifter for providing upshifted control signals to an active matrix display based on logic-level control signals received from a timing controller. The programmable level shifter includes a programmable state machine, level-shifting output drivers, and a programming interface. The programmable state machine is configured to receive at least one control signal from a timing controller. • Patent number: 7619753
Abstract: A method of measuring dimensions for an optical system to measure the critical dimension of a sample object according to this aspect of the present invention includes the steps of preparing a plurality of standard objects, selecting a predetermined focus metric algorithm, performing an analyzing process on each standard object to generate a plurality of focus metric distributions using the predetermined focus metric algorithm, analyzing the focus metric distributions to determine a target order, generating a reference relation, acquiring a measured characteristic value from the sample object, and determining the critical dimension of the sample object based on the measured characteristic value and the reference relation. Each standard object has a grating-shaped standard pattern with a predetermined pitch and line width. • Patent number: 7477396
Abstract: In systems and methods measure overlay error in semiconductor device manufacturing based on target image asymmetry. As a result, the advantages of using very small in-chip targets can be achieved, while their disadvantages are reduced or eliminated. Methods for determining overlay error based on measured asymmetry can be used with existing measurement tools and systems. These methods allow for improved manufacturing of semiconductor devices and similar devices formed from layers.

  • Patent number: 7013498
Abstract: The invention provides a dispenser which can be suspended over the rim of a toilet bowl to dispense a dose of active ingredient into the bowl as the bowl is flushed. The dispenser draws active liquid from a reservoir in discrete doses, each does being released by a pumping action which is caused by the action of the flush water on the dispenser. The dispenser includes a flow restrictor which normally prevents egress of the active liquid from the reservoir but which releases a dose under the influence of the pumping action.

  • Publication number: 20040144854
Abstract: An apparatus for holding an air modifying agent and dispensing the agent into surrounding air comprises a support member (1, 2) supporting a solid carrier (8) which contains the agent in a volatile form and having an air space (7) above the surface of the carrier. The air space is in operative air flow communication with the surrounding air for dispensing the agent in vapour form into the surrounding air. The support member is configured to adopt a first orientation in initial use, and to displace from the first orientation in response to movement of the centre of mass of the apparatus as the solid carrier vaporises.

  • Patent number: 6562294
Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided, which enable an air modifying agent such as an insecticide, pesticide, insect repellant, fragrance, perfume etc. to be disseminated into an atmosphere. The air modifying agent is entrained in a flammable liquid carrier (2) which is less volative than the agent, which is held in a container (1). A wick (3) draws the agent/carrier (2) up to an igniting station provided at the rim (5) of a metal collar (4) which closely encircles the wick (3). The collar (4) is provided with a pair of diametrically opposed elongate slots (8), which expose part of the wick (3) to the atmosphere and thereby provide a vaporisation station spaced below the igniting station and disposed in the path of the flammable liquid carrier.
