Abstract: In one embodiment, an AR/VR system includes a social-networking application installed on the AR/VR system, which allows a user to access on online social network, including communicating with the user's social connections and interacting with content objects on the online social network. The AR/VR system also includes an AR/VR application, which allows the user to interact with an AR/VR platform by providing user input to the AR/VR application via various modalities. Based on the user input, the AR/VR platform generates responses and sends the generated responses to the AR/VR application, which then presents the responses to the user at the AR/VR system via various modalities.

Abstract: A system and method includes determining uncertainty estimation in an object detection deep neural network (DNN) by retrieving a calibration dataset from a validation dataset that includes scores associated with all classes in an image, including a background (BG) class, determining background ground truth boxes in the calibration dataset by comparing ground truth boxes with detection boxes generated by the object detection DNN using an intersection over union (IoU) threshold, correcting for class imbalance between ground truth boxes and background ground truth boxes in a ground truth class by updating the ground truth class to include a number of background ground truth boxes based on a number of ground truth boxes in the ground truth class, estimating uncertainty of the object detection DNN based on the class imbalance correction, and updating output data sets of the object detection DNN based on the class imbalance correction.

Abstract: Techniques for implementing a systematic installation of software extensions are disclosed. If the set of rules are satisfied, indicating that the bookmarks are usable, then the second document is stored using the first name while retaining the bookmarks of the first document.

If it is determined that the above conditions do not match, then a transformation service is invoked at the indexing server. The transformation service compares a hash value of a dataset. If the transformation service determines that the hash value of a dataset in the document is not available, an indexing service is invoked to index the document.
