Publication number: 20240057220Abstract: Disclosed is a modular and expandable high intensity rapid heat flux generator and multiplier (150) for generating uniform radiant heat flux upwards of 3 MW/m2 for extended duration up to 300 sec and more, for testing thermal capabilities of a test object (200). The heat flux generator (150) consists of a plurality of heat sources (100) and a control module. Each heat source (100) comprises a housing (15) having a plurality of quartz tubes (20) arranged therein. Each quartz tube (20) accommodating from 2 to 4 heat emitters (30) therein, is provided with a cooling arrangement, wherein a cooling medium (40) from an external reservoir (50) is circulated through the quartz tubes (20) for controlling the surface temperature of the heat emitters (30) for their normal functioning, and for delivering maximum radiant heat flux. The control module controls simultaneous cooling and dynamic flux stabilization either continuously or in pulse.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2021Publication date: February 15, 2024Applicant: LITEL INFRARED SYSTEMS PVT. Patent number: 11709522Abstract: Embodiments herein describe techniques for managing power consumption and temperature in an electronic circuits or integrated chips driven by clock signals (collectively referred to as “cards”) by throttling the clock signals on those cards. The cards often allow users to implement customized hardware acceleration functions via Field Programmable Gate Arrays or the like, which can lead to variable workloads on different cards (or regions of individual cards) based on the customized functionality. By throttling the clock signal based on continuously monitored power consumption or temperature, the user is enabled to use the card more aggressively (e.g., based on average rather than worst-case power consumption), and the card automatically throttles operations when power consumption or temperature exceeds operational thresholds.Type: GrantFiled: September 16, 2020Date of Patent: July 25, 2023Assignee: XILINX, INC.Inventors: Sebastian Turullols, Ravinder Sharma, Siva Santosh Kumar Pyla, Raj Kumar Rampelli, Deboleena Minz Sakalley, Nilay Shah

Publication number: 20230201760Abstract: A computer-implemented method for designing and assessing the performance of a hollow fibre membrane contactor (MBC) in a natural gas sweetening process using a MBC model is described in an embodiment. The MBC model comprises model parameters, model equations and boundary conditions for calculating data associated with the natural gas sweetening process. The natural gas sweetening process comprises removal of acid gas from natural gas using a solvent comprising at least one component. The method comprises: (i) forming a regression model using empirical data; (ii) determining a Henry's constant of CO2 in the solvent using the regression model; (iii) inputting the determined Henry's constant of CO2 in the MBC model as one of the model parameters; and (iv) determining CO2 absorption in the solvent using the MBC model for designing and assessing the performance of the MBC.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Ven Chian QUEK, Benoît CHACHUAT, Nilay SHAH, Siti Hajar Bt KHALIT, Syafiqa Bt M SALEH, Zhe Phak CHAN

Publication number: 20090043650Abstract: A method, apparatus and system of segmented services having a global structure of networked independent entities are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of a network of patent attorneys includes providing a holistic patent services support solution to a patent attorney forming a separate entity, permitting the separate entity to adopt a trade identity different than that of the network of patent attorneys, and performing a core portion of a patent legal service through the separate entity of the patent attorney. The method may include transferring a relationship between the patent attorney and a client to the network of the patent attorneys, and marketing a corporate ownership interest of the network of patent attorneys to parties other than members of a State Bar Association to which the patent attorney belongs without violating a regulation of the State Bar Association when the core portion is performed through the separate entity.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 8, 2007Publication date: February 12, 2009Inventors: Raj Vasant Abhyanker, Babar Rana, Nilay Shah
