  • Patent number: 10978905
Abstract: There are provided systems, apparatuses, and methods for controlling power delivery from an auxiliary power supply. For example, there is provided a method that includes generating a first random number to define a timeout period. During the timeout period, the method may detect whether a voltage is present at an output of an auxiliary power supply, may disable the auxiliary power supply when the voltage is detected at the output, and may enable the auxiliary power supply when the voltage is not detected at the output.

  • Publication number: 20200025573
Abstract: A system and method obtaining image data of a light fixture having an indicator associated with the light fixture. The indicator at least partially attenuates light generated by one or more light generating devices disposed within the light fixture. The method also includes determining one or more characteristics of the indicator based on the image data that is obtained, and one or more of determining a unique identity of the light fixture based on the one or more characteristics of the indicator that are determined or determining a location of the light fixture within a structure based on the one or more characteristics of the indicator that are determined.

  • Patent number: 9629222
Abstract: A timing circuit may be enabled when a static signal disables communication through a communications bus, the timing circuit producing a threshold level after being enabled for a predetermined time period, and a switch controlled by the timing circuit is configured to disconnect the static signal when the timing circuit produces the threshold level. A static signal may be used to enable a timing circuit upon the static signal disabling communication through a communications bus, and communication may be allowed through the communication bus by disconnecting the static signal using a switch controlled by the timing circuit, after the timing circuit has been enabled for a predetermined period of time.

  • Patent number: 9544972
Abstract: Provided is a lighting system that includes a plurality of lighting elements to emit light, a power supply to supply power, a lighting driver including a microcontroller and to output power to the plurality of lighting elements for operation thereof, a control system to transmit a control signal to the microcontroller to initiate a standby mode of the plurality of lighting elements, and a semiconductor device configured to receive voltage from the microcontroller, and selectively enable and disable a low power consumption mode of the lighting driver, to thereby maintain voltage for communication between the microcontroller and the control system during the standby mode.

  • Patent number: 9380664
Abstract: Provided is a lighting system that includes a plurality of lighting elements which emit light, a power supply which supplies power, a lighting driver comprising a microcontroller and which outputs power to the plurality of lighting elements for operation thereof; and a control system which transmits a control signal to the microcontroller to initiate a standby mode of the plurality of lighting elements. The microcontroller receives the control signal and decreases output power supplied to the plurality of lighting elements, while remaining in a low power consumption mode for communicating with the control system during standby mode.
