Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and software of modifying, configuring, adapting, or otherwise developing one or more pre-constructed applications and business process components to meet a user's needs or requirements of a particular business application. Each component or application includes one or more pre-constructed user interfaces and performs one or more predetermined functions, services, or queries. A non-technical user or business analyst may obtain an application and, thereafter, adapt or reconfigure the application to perform desired functions, thus creating a custom application. In some cases, the user may custom build a new application utilizing multiple components or applications. The creation, adaptation, and configuration of the application may be performed in an intuitive manner without exposing the user to the programming code or application model.

One method for utilizing reusable development components includes presenting an interface to a remote user operable to display information for at least a first and a second development component. In some cases, the first development component is a first type of enterprise application content and the second development component of a second type of enterprise application content. The user is then allowed to update some portion of metadata associated with the first development component.

Abstract: A system and method for finding relevant advertisements to a search engine user's query where said query is received by a search engine, returning one or more search results by the search engine and analyzing the search results to determine more precisely or more broadly the search engine user's objective or interest and using the analysis to determine which advertisements, stored in an advertisement database, to present to the search engine user.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods, systems, and software for horizontal and vertical filtering of business application models. Such software may identify a first modeling domain and a second modeling domain for a business application. The software can then apply a filter to at least the first modeling domain to determine a subset of the first and second modeling domains and present the subset of one of the modeling domains to a client. In some situations, each modeling domain may be a UI domain, a business process domain, or a data domain. Further, the first modeling domain can represent the particular domain in a first logical layer and the second modeling domain can represent the same domain in a second logical layer. Moreover, the software can apply any suitable number of filters, whether vertical and/or horizontal, to any number of appropriate domains and layers.
