  • Patent number: 12001401
Abstract: In an implementation, a sync engine running on a computing device synchronizes a local copy of a file with a copy of the file hosted by an online file service. An application on the device receives a request/command to open the file and responsively opens a temporary copy of the file in memory. The application populates the temporary file with content from the local copy of the file and also establishes a connection between the application and a co-authoring service. Note that the connection between the application and the co-authoring session bypasses the sync engine such, when connected to the co-authoring service, the application is able to synchronize the content in the temporary copy of the file with content in the hosted copy of the file over the connection.

  • Publication number: 20240176647
Abstract: This disclosure describes aspects of parallel processing of blockchain requests, including prescreening that prevents conflicts for parallel processing. In some examples, an address is identified from a blockchain request. The blockchain request is prescreened to determine a conflict status. The conflict status is determined by comparing the address from the blockchain request to at least one address in a parallel execution batch. The blockchain request is placed in the parallel execution batch or a subsequent parallel execution batch based on the conflict status. The blockchain request is performed by parallel processing of the parallel execution batch or the subsequent parallel execution batch.

  • Patent number: 11971881
Abstract: Systems and methods for novel uses and/or improvements to blockchains and blockchain technology. As one example, systems and methods are described herein for self-validating digital records that may be transferred in real-time through a cross-network registry. For example, in a conventional system, minting a token (e.g., a digital record) involves writing a self-executing program that defines the transfer rules of the digital record. Once the self-executing program is written, it is deployed on a blockchain, and the digital record is minted by publishing it to a blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11915807
Abstract: Described herein are techniques of using machine learning to automatically extract clinical variable values for subjects from clinical record data. The techniques designate certain clinical variables as hybrid variables that can be assigned values by machine learning model prediction. The techniques process, using a machine learning model trained to predict a value of a hybrid variable, clinical record data associated with a subject to obtain a predicted hybrid variable value and an associated confidence score. The techniques set the value of the hybrid variable for the subject to the predicted hybrid variable value when the model prediction is of sufficiently high confidence.

  • Publication number: 20240031423
Abstract: An online cloud application platform for global navigation of multiple online cloud-based applications is provided. The online cloud application platform is configured to provide a plurality of online cloud-based applications. While providing a current application among the plurality of online cloud-based applications, an event identifying a function request decoupled from a static navigation route is received via a cross-application routing handler. Based on a set of dynamically modifiable configuration data of the online cloud application platform, which application among the plurality of online cloud-based applications to handle the function request is dynamically determined. Based on the set of dynamically modifiable configuration data of the online cloud application platform, a corresponding dynamically determined cross-application navigation route to handle the event is determined.
